Lovely overnight stay

Enjoyed our overnight stay here as part of our SWCP walk. Friendly welcome from our hosts. Nice room and comfy bed with a great shower.
Really appreciated the lift to the local pub for dinner. Breakfast was delicious, freshly made and local ingredients.

Very caring and helpful hosts

Stayed here for one night whilst walking the SWCP.
Shane and family were very caring, helpful and great hosts throughout. I was even driven to and from a nearby village pub by Shane's son in order to ensure I could get an evening meal!
The room was comfortable and clean with fresh milk and a home made cake part of the welcome tray.
Great breakfast of fruit, cereals, scrambled egg and toast.

Gem of a ace very suitable for walkers and access to coast path

Shane and Hayden  are perfect hosts and it really shows that they enjoy what they do. Whilst being very professional  they offer a warm friendly  welcome.
Throughout my stay they were available if I needed them and could not have been more helpful.
They work hard to ensure you have the best possible  stay and really put themselves out to make sure this happens. Communication  is excellent and contact made as soon as the booking is made communicating  all the additional information  that you might need.  I was able to leave my car before check in, which was really helpful  as it made logistics easier for a day walking on the coast path, in fact I was offered an early check in as the room was ready when I arrived. Shane even offered to pick us up after a day walking , amazing! So kind and after a day on the path a lift up that final hill was very welcome...thank you sooo much!!
On returning at the end of the day what a lovely  surprise to find a piece of chocolate  cake beside the kettle!! A lovely "little pick me up" after a day walking. I meant to thankyou both , it was much appreciated, thank you.
The room was lovely . Spotlessly  clean, very comfortable  with a cottagey feel.
It had its own direct access to the driveway  with my car parked right outside.  One step into the the room through a sweet little stable door makes the room very accessible, if you struggle with steps. A very comfortable bed, ensuite shower, and a little kitchenette with sink, drainer, microwave  and  full size fridge,  a perfect set up for a stay especially if you were going to be out and about and wanted to be able to make up a picnic, what a good idea. I wished I had booked in longer.
Breakfast was also of a high standard. With plenty to choose from in a nice relaxed setting.
I was also able to leave the car after check out and collect it later in the day, which again was really helpful.
I would jump at the chance to have an excuse to come back and stay and couldn't  recommend staying with Shane and Hayden at Jago Cottage enough. It was so peaceful and relaxed, perfect, thankyou both.

Excellent stay. Highly recommend

One of the best self catering accommodations we’ve stayed at. On one level - Spacious, well equipped and clean. Very large lawned area for exercising our dog and good walks from the door. Nice touch with th welcome pack of wine, cake and milk.
Great location near village with a well stocked shop/post office and a traditional pub serving good food, good value and great for gluten free.

Lovely 3 night stay

Great location and hosts. They were welcoming and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. A variety of breakfast options available. A lovely and clean room with a lovely view over the fields. It would be a great location for a couple or family. We were given great recommendations for places to visit, we would recommend Carne beach and St. Mawes. We would recommend the B&B to everyone and looking forward to coming back again.
