Waddesdon wonder

We had the ground floor room overlooking the garden. The room and bathroom were spotless, beautiful bed linen and very comfy bed.
The breakfast was superb with an amazing choice and my husbands cooked breakfast was delicious and perfectly cooked. What a find!

A great find.

Lovely quiet room overlooking the garden. Use of the seating area on a secluded patio outside the Fench Doors. Good clean accommodation with an excellent breakfast. All tastes catered for.
A great place to unwind and stay whilst visiting the Manor and other nearby places of interest. Some lovely places to eat for your evening meal if required.

+ We’ll run with good security
+ Ample parking very close to the venue
+ Interesting pictures, architecture and statues
Dislikes:
- It’s quite cold in October and equally cold inside the buildings - needs more heating

Lovely Stay

Congenial host, lovely stay, comfortable bed, hot shower, freshly cooked breakfast to order, excellent if visiting Waddesdon Manor, or Claydon House, which Florence Nightingale stayed at while visiting her sister.

Fantastic - highly recommended!

We stayed here for two nights and really enjoyed it. Helen's hospitality was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Helen's cooked breakfasts were delicious and we enjoyed a large variety of items to chose from. The room was spacious and very comfortable with tea making facilities, television, Wi-Fi and private bathroom. The only two improvements we would make, would be to make the room a bit warmer (it was a bit chilly at night); and the shower was very hot with no option to make it cooler (the top shower head also aimed water in a few different directions but the bottom head was fine). We could hear the passing traffic but we are heavy sleepers so we weren't bothered by the traffic noise too much. We would highly recommended The Old Dairy to anyone wanting a weekend away in a characteful property.
