Windsor Travelodge

Stayed in this hotel on a few occasions and we have never had any issues. Location is perfect and you can get discounted car parking at the nearby Q Park. I dont the companys online booking service to be user friendly at all. We wanted to add an additional evening to the booking but that wasnt possible so we had to make anadditional booking and so ended up with 2 different room types. Fortunately the reception staff were able to sort this to prevent us from having to swap rooms during our stay. We had an upgraded room for asmall amount more and it was worth the cost. All the staff we dealt with where very friendly and helpful so it made for a stress free experience.

Very slow service

We as a family stayed at Windsor central, staff behind the bar did not know what wines were available and also spent 15 mins waiting to be served and this happened multiple times, food was of a good quality however took 45 mins to come out even though we were the only people sat in the restaurant, breakfast was a similar situation with a prolonged wait for bacon and sausages.

5⭐️

If you’re in Windsor and looking for a hotel… this is one you want.
All of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel at home and genuinely didn’t want to leave.
I’ll be back ❤️

NO AIRCON

I stayed at the windsor travelodge due to location, close to rail links and windsor castle, Apon checking in i had to wait 30 minutes to be seen due to room issues with guest in front, eventually a team member came to check me in, on the way to my room the corridors were hot and stuffy, Entering the room the heat was being blown around by a desk fan, the window was open 2 inches, The room is a new Super room, so has different decor, framed pictures, large tv, fridge with 2 cans of water and 2 kit kats, a desk fan and a swivel floor fan. NO AIRCON, bathroom with shower gels and a disappointing low pressure shower and bath tub. The bed was comfy but had no sleep due to heat and having to listen to boy racers popping there exhausts under the railway bridge next to the hotel. For the price paid I wouldn't stay here again especially in the summer. Having recently been re fitted perhaps Aircon should have been considered for the comfort of guests.

Extremely hot rooms

Central location, ok breakfast and clean rooms. Staff is very friendly. However do not travel when it’s hot weather as rooms have no air con, window can barely be opened and guests are expected to sleep in 27+ degree hot rooms. Also we arrived at 9pm and room wasn’t ready yet. There are other options where you can actually sleep even in the summer.
