Excellent staff team, super welcoming.
I stayed for one night at this excellent hotel ( 20/6 ). Great backdrop of the racecourse stand and ring. We were greeted by Rebecca at reception. Excellent customer care skills, we couldn’t have been made more welcome.
Also many thanks to Phil for his friendly, courteous manner and first class service in the bar and restaurant. lmpressive customer care skills again.
Special mention to Ash, la chef, for her super friendly manner, great fun and a superb chef. Beautiful food, beautifully presented. Top marks Ash!
Finally, again special thanks to Mrs. Jackie Bennett MBE, who looked after us so well in the restaurant. National Treasure and all round wonderful human being. Loved her Black Country accent!

Smooth, hassle-free business stay
Great choice for a work trip. Easy to find with plenty of free parking, fast Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, and a comfortable desk setup in the room. The bed was super comfortable and the room was nice and quiet for a solid night’s sleep. The front desk team was very professional and accommodating. Highly recommended for business travelers.

Worse hotel in Wolverhampton
Where to start?!
As a loyal IHG customer this is the worst holiday inn hotel (or should we classify as motel). It should be rebranded or go sold to a different group.
The rooms are disgusting. We had 13 rooms in the hotel and can all agree that the carpets HAVE NEVER BEEN WASHED IR CLEANED. The 1980s bathtubs that are extremely dangerous for everyone including people in their 20s have to go.
The check in would be better at a hostel than this place (you might as well invest in self check in rather than pay for receptionists that don’t understand what that roles is about).
To pay GBP 250 per night for this place is beyond ludicrous! They don’t even give you drinking water bottles!!!!!
The place is OLDD and disgusting. With zero amenities and badddd service.
We spent a lot of money at the bar and the staff just couldn’t care less.
Talk about an example of a place that has customers spending money and the staff couldn’t care less. Every order was a mission and we had to go to the bar and order and carry our drinks to the table OURSELVES! You could hear drilling in the hotel at 8am which shows they don’t care about guests sleeping. The housekeeping team can be heard chatting outside I. The hallways which again shows zero respect for paying guests trying ti sleep!
We had friends who stayed at the premier inn nearby and paid GBP 100 per night and had a much nicer room. Don’t bother with this 1 star holiday inn.

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Wolverhampton and had an excellent experience from start to finish. I had left booking a room until the very last minute and was worried I wouldn’t be able to find anywhere suitable to stay. Thankfully, Ingrida on reception went above and beyond to help me.
She was incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating, taking the time to look at the available options and managing to fit me in despite the short notice. Her friendly attitude and willingness to help instantly put me at ease after what had been a stressful situation.
The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, but it was the outstanding customer service from Ingrida that really made my stay memorable. She is a real credit to the Holiday Inn Wolverhampton team, and I’m extremely grateful for all her help.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Ingrida, for your exceptional service!
