There aren’t many options for hotels on Newton and this is the cheapest option. This is an older property that’s been updated over the years. The vinyl floors are looking dull and worn. The bathroom ceiling in #102 could use some work.

Beware….
As soon as we opened the door, we were hit with an overwhelming, disgusting odor. The beds were damp and smelled terrible. The window was broken, so we couldn’t even open it for fresh air, and the air conditioner was only blowing warm, damp air.
We were exhausted after a long day of work and considered staying the night because it was late and we planned to find another place in the morning. However, after finding a roach in the bathroom, we grabbed our belongings and left immediately just to be welcomed by another roach outside the door.
The owner did not deny any of the issues and told me I would receive a full refund once I canceled through Booking.com. I’m still waiting for that refund and have since contacted my bank to dispute the charge.
I stayed at this property several times approximately 5–8 years ago and had positive experiences then. Unfortunately, the condition of the property has deteriorated significantly since my previous visits and they falsely advertise clean rooms, and a continental breakfast. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend staying here at all!

The lady that helped us check in was very friendly & helpful. The room was clean & colorful. Breakfast was not included, but there was a cracker Barrel close by.

Bathroom side of bathroom door looked to have water damage, especially around the bottom of it.
Beds were comfortable.
No other complaints.

Motel was clean but in major need of some repairs and updates. We had stayed there a couple years go and I remember the room was decent but it was towards the front of the building. This time we were "out back" and that area was needing some TLC. The towel rack fell off the wall, and you could see that they had put it up in different holes several times but never patched the wall. There was no coffee maker (not a deal breaker as we always purchase our coffee elsewhere), the bathroom was a very odd layout with nowhere to set your toiletry bag, etc. and the shower had no wall shelves to even put the bar of soap. I had to balance it on the wall shampoo dispenser which, by the way, was dirty on the outside. The bed was extremely uncomfortable - woke up with a stiff back - and there were not enough pillows because they were pretty flat. I had to sleep with one of my bags under the pillow. The room was clean, I will give them that; however, it felt very "ghetto" to me in the back section (the parking lot had a huge pile of old furniture and chairs in a big pile). The ice machine looked very old and dingy and ran out of ice. We probably won't stay there again even though it was cheapest in the area at just over $100/night.
