Stayed A Week & would've stayed more!

We loved our stay - the staff was so friendly and welcoming. They asked if we needed anything at all and pointed us in the right direction on all fronts....We honestly would have stayed for a month if we could. Thank you so much and sure to be back again!!!

Average Hotel

We rented a room for two nights, last minute, after a music festival had been cancelled. It is an average hotel with average rooms. Good location right on a main road, very close to fast food restaurants. Nothing at all special about it and nothing went wrong either. The sink had not been wiped down, so someone else's hair stubble got on our soap when we rested it on the sink. The shower was not very good, the beds were not very comfortable. But it was not that bad for a last minute place to stay that wasn't overly expensive.

One night

Stayed one night while traveling from Canada to D.C. About as basic as you can get. Nothing to look at here. Not even an ice machine. And the carpet in the hallway is threadbare. But the manager was courteous and helpful. He recommended a restaurant that delivers and the food was terrific.
The room is average size. One wall is painted cinderblock. Only one picture on the walls. No evidence of any bugs. Furniture is basic low to mid level motel decor. A flat screen tv is mounted to the wall. The bath is small but serves the purpose as long as only one person at a time needs to get in. The shower worked well. Plenty of hot water.
The bed is comfortable and the pillows are better than those found in some high level motels.
Forget breakfast. Cereal, some breads and juice. No eggs, meat, potatoes or waffles.
The cleanliness of the room and the comfort of the bed as well as the price ($88 per night) allow me to rate this as average rather than poor.
This is race weekend at Watkins Glen. Tonight the rate more than doubles.

Clean and friendly

We got in sometime after midnight and the desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was wonderfully clean without a hint of smoke smell. It is not fancy, but the bed was very comfortable. Well worth the very affordable price.

Reasonably priced, comfortable clean bed

The room was old, but large and clean. Bed very comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator, Ironing board and iron, flat screen TV with HBO. Hotel staff Patrick was friendly and accommodating. Continental breakfast included Orange juice, milk, white and wheat bread, pancakes that you pop in the toaster, cereal, pastries, bananas, apples and more. Even though I overslept and missed the breakfast time slot, Patrick opened it up just for me. Very reasonable price. I paid $60 with no discount, but AAA and AARP discounts advertised. Better situation than a $150 radisson i stayed in further north. Would stay here again.
