I'll definitely recommend this place to anybody who is traveling through West Virginia. Very clean rooms. The staff was very friendly and nice. The breakfast was pretty good and the bar. Yes, it was outstanding whenever I came into town. I always stayed at this place.

Wet Feet
I have stayed at this particular Quality Inn at various times over the years, and typically had good experiences. The location is great because you're next door to IHOP, CHICK-FIL-A, OUTBACK, McDonald's, and more.
While the hotel is older, and could use some modern upgrades, it does provide a good nights sleep(which is what we needed). After checking in, and going to dinner, we came back to the room to take a shower before preparing for bed(at this point, it's almost 11:00 PM). The shower water was lukewarm at best, and the water was slow to drain out. We took a shower standing in at least three inches of water.( Actually, when we checked out at 8:00 AM, the water was still in the shower.) When I informed the young man at the front desk of the situation, he just said "Sorry". He did not note or ask which room we had an issue with(we had two rooms). That made me feel as if I wasn't valued customer with a valid concern.
Breakfast was a typical continental breakfast with waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage patties and links, eggs(powdered and boiled)fruit, juices, breads, and coffee.
Good value but higher expectations.

Our room was clean, property was maintained, our stay was quiet, staff friendly and we truly enjoyed breakfast. Sausage gravy was great! We will be back.

Stayed 2 nights no internet or pool. Staff didnt know hours of connected restaurant and lied about there problems. Accessible room was poor at best.

The WiFi was out our whole stay. Apparently it had been out a few days but they don’t tell you that when you check in. I complained after we got to our room but the response was “Tech support is working on it, there’s nothing more I can do”. Also the pool was closed. It was supposed to be open until September and it was Aug 28. I picked this place expecting a pool and WiFi. I complained to the front desk about the pool and this time I got “The manager is gone for the day. I’ll give her your name and room number and you can talk to her in the morning”. So we checked out at 10 am and the manager still wasn’t in to work. Also the bathtub was stained. And the cabinet around the refrigerator was all beat up and falling apart. And the carpets were dirty looking. Breakfast was typical and not anything special. Except for the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were well hidden under the eggs. I found them and enjoyed them but several people complained to me that they never saw them and had eaten something less appealing. The last annoyance was the cleaning staff knocking at the room next door and yelling questions. They were so loud I thought they were knocking on my door. And I had my do not disturb sign up. By the time I got to the door I was really annoyed. All in all the whole stay was disappointing. I would never go back.
