Beautiful setting with costly extras

Beautiful setting and Ceasar Chavez park nearby offers great bay and city views. Lots of benches to rest while taking the hike around the park. Hotel front desk people are very helpful. Hotel was clean and inviting. Outside fire pits are nice but only operate until 10 pm. Pool and hot tub are a great feature but crowded on weekends. Restaurant on site is pleasant and food is good but is too expensive now, as is food in the 24 hr fast food area. Parking on site is also too expensive.

Wonderful property. Unique architecture and design which adds to the beauty. Amazing views of the Berkeley Marina and San Francisco!!

Clean room and I guess this is what $159/ night gets you now. They wanted to charge an extra $45 to park in their parking. The desk staff was mildly professional, but very corporate and robotic. The room was clean and the gym was pretty good, but it just felt like a very cold corporate experience.

staff was nice but hotel itself needs some work. Grout in shower is old and cracked, sliding glass door handle was tacky, etc..

From arrival to departure the entire staff was excellent. They were kind curteous and professional. The property was clean well maintained and welcoming. Our room was impeccable. This hotel stay was absolutely an enjoyable one.
