Atmospheric, lovely historic Inn

Experienced a wonderful recent stay for two nights at the Bradley Inn on Pemaquid Point. The food and service at the Inn's restaurant for breakfast and dinner were excellent, and they accommodated gluten allergies for two in our parts of 5 without any challenge. They responded to our requests for help with a couple of room issues or supplies very quickly, and also offered help with a car challenge we had. The region was lovely and restorative.

Beautiful Inn, Disappointing Service and Sleepless Nights

My 8-year-old son and I recently stayed at The Bradley Inn. The inn itself is quintessential Maine and nicely maintained. I was particularly impressed during breakfast when the owners proactively accommodated my son's tree nut allergy—a thoughtful touch that rarely happens and was greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the room's bed and the service that followed. We stayed in the Garden Room, where the mattress was so excessively soft that my son genuinely asked if it was a waterbed. After two completely sleepless nights, I decided to check out a night early and move to a hotel up the road.
I looked for the owners on-site to explain the situation, but no one was around. I left a text message, and after waiting six hours with no response, I called. When Laura answered, her demeanor was surprisingly rude, dismissive, and defensive. She mentioned she had typed a response but forgot to hit send, and simply brushed off the issue by saying the bed "must not be for everyone." While I understand the policy regarding last-minute accommodations or refunds when an issue isn't reported immediately, I expected a courteous, professional conversation.
We had a wonderful final night's sleep at the hotel down the road, where the hosts were welcoming and attentive. Given the hospitality industry, I hoped for a much higher level of customer care and basic courtesy. If comfortable sleep and responsive service are priorities for your travel, I would recommend looking elsewhere or avoiding this specific room.

$400.00 Diner meal

I pre-qualified my entree with the waiter/host/bartender prior to ordering. Five 1/4" pieces of beef mixed with veg and rice....I expressed my dissatisfaction as I could not eat my meal which went unheard. This used to be a much better establishment and I should have been more suspect as to why they had so much availability on a Saturday in August when all the other local restaurants were booked. Beyond disappointing.....

Lovely Bed and Breakfast!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the beautiful Bradley Inn for a workshop/retreat. The location offers easy access to surrounding sights. The rooms were spacious, clean, quiet, and offered lovely views. The included breakfasts were delicious. Though an additional cost, I recommend having dinner at the inn. Owners/hosts, Laura and Tony were welcoming and accommodating. I would stay there again!
