Hidden gem

We stayed one night at the Quiet Corner Inn, we had gone to a Red Sox game and I had signed up for a local road race in Killingly the next morning, staying overnight made that simpler. This motel is a through back in all the good ways! Classic motel room set up, but modernized. Platform bed, laminate floor (no carpet), updated bathroom fixtures. The room was very clean and pleasant. It is along Route 6, a fairly busy road, but using the air conditioning provided enough white noise to not notice it. Proprietor is friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in the Quiet Corner!

This was a nice clean place for a night's sleep. It is on Rt. 6 which is a busy road but was pretty quiet over night. There are a few things you can walk to but most exploring would be done my car, which obviously makes sense as this is a motor inn style place.

The bed was a little too firm for my liking. Also, we had no cold water making it impossible to take a shower.

I would definitely recommend to anyone either passing through or having a wedding destination in the area.

The Quiet Corner was conveniently located just a short drive to wedding location,Evergreen Farms, which I was in town for with my family.
Atmosphere was quiet.
Rooms were nice and clean.
Price was great value.
I forgot a shirt in room and the friendly staff was able to send it to me at my home promptly the next day after I called them. The owner/staff member also followed up by sending me a text with pictures of receipt and package shirt was sent in. Very helpful and extremely accommodating.
