Great location, but this is the only thing in this hotel's favour.

The location of this hotel is absolutely fantastic. On the waterfront and near to downtown and the town all in walking distance. However it is very dated. Our room was also not clean enough for our expectations of a Marriott. For example the menu and TV list in the room were grubby and dirty where others dirty hand marks had been. This sounds picky as I write but they were easily replaced and they were filthy. There were streaks down the full length mirror which I dread to think what it was. Similar in the bathroom The ironing board was grim - so much so I didn’t use it! The corridors had not been hoovered in a while. The TV system is ancient - no tv guide you just have to scroll through each channel. The bed was VERY high and I’m quite tall but found it hard to get on the bed. The furniture is dated and needs replacing. I was very disappointed with our check in too. Unfortunately the lady who served us could not have been less interested in us and literally asked for ID and credit card, said nothing and then gave me the key card. I asked about parking and she gave me the briefest answer. No information on how to get to our room, no details of food and drinks on offer, no welcome, no thank you for being members, no how are you, nothing! Very disappointing experience all round. Such a shame. The check out was slightly better - a male did acknowledge us as we left. Although I’d checked out online as did not feel I wanted to return to the reception desk. I would not recommend this hotel.

It took a while to check in. One card reader was down so they couldn’t use their credit card system. Then when we went to the other guest service agent and I had to put in my credit card number manually since it wasn’t also working on their end.
So that was sad start to our stay and it gets better . . . The parking was terrible to find a spot that didn’t say “reserved.” We had to park all the way at the top level.
Then they have one tiny elevator that takes a long time and we had 3 ppl in front of us, so we had to use two flights of stairs to walk to another set of elevators to get to our room. The room was decent. The bed was comfy. A few guests were loud after midnight yelling and laughing in the hallway off and on for a hour. Not something the hotel staff has control of.
My husband and I check out the next morning and we couldn’t get out of the parking deck. We called the front desk staff from where it says to “call for assistance” at the parking box, nobody was answering. My husband had to get out of the car to walk to the building over and to get someone at the front desk in the hotel. The front desk tells my husband to call for assistance and my husband tells them we did and we called twice and no one was answering. And they noticed that the phone was left off the hook which is why no one answered our call from the parking garage. It was such a nightmare. Thankfully our stay was short. But still not the best experience by any means. They can do better.

Great location but clean rooms are a dice roll

I was in this hotel for four weeks due to work. First two rooms were great. I was bitten by fleas/ticks ~24x in 24 hr in the 3rd room and found dried fecal [and urine?] matter on chair. They transferred me to a very nice room and washed my clothes, only staining the underclothes with bleach. The 4th time I was at hotel, I began to have serious allergy issues within 3 hours. I found a chair with black mold under the cushion, so much hair and blood [from an addict and or bed bugs?] on the headboard end of the linens that it was obvious the linens had not been changed in weeks, if not months. Housekeeping gave me a vacuum due to all the food left from prior guest on floor and no staff to vacuum. We stripped the bed, where a medical wrapper and toothpick fell out from under a pillow. GM said, "You are never happy, check-out." SO I did. I'd post more bite pics but am pretty sure nobody wants to see my skinny legs.

Clean bed, disappointing overall experience

I would not stay here again, the room was nothing special, and while the bedding and bathroom were clean some of the furniture/ironing board were pretty gross. The room itself was very noisy, and the walls and ceilings seem very thin. The front desk staff members were incredibly rude and unhelpful when all I asked for was a printed receipt on checkout (and was never provided.) The parking garage sucks. There’s a restaurant connected to the hotel and the food was alright but not worth the prices they charge - I believe they also provide the dining found on the in room menu. The check in process was quick for me, but moving through the lobby there was often a very long line with one person working the front desk. I would not stay here again.
