Awesome location! Shops & restaurants are all within walking distance! Most are literally right next door!

The location is great. The room and the hotel staff not so great. We booked 6 months ago a std room for 4 people at a rate of $2,500 for 3 nights. A few days prior to our stay we received an email offering to bid for upgrade to king room. I emailed the hotel to ask them to confirm that a king room was suitable for 4 adults and they replied that it wasn’t. When I told them it must have been a mistake from their system, a very unprofessional rude person replied that it wasn’t a mistake, we could upgrade but would not have room bedding for 4?! (All on hotels.com email trail) . Upon arrival we were given the smallest darkest room right next to the ice machine , overlooking the car park, we barely had room to open our 4 suitcases and only one available plug on the wall to charge our various devices: A helpful lady at the front desk did agree to move us the following day to a more suitable room, much larger . The room was barely serviced throughout the stay with a very quick superficial clean of poor standard. I came to reception to ask for wine glasses and was told no. I then asked if we could have normal glasses and was told NO only plastic was allowed . When I pointed out they were already had two glass tumblers in the room so could we have another2 , the receptionist reluctantly got up her chair to get us two glasses. There was a certain attitude, laziness and unwillingness to help from some of the staff at reception and it just made the stay less enjoyable.

Great location, close to the famous Squire and the restaurant (Wild Goose Tavern) on-site was terrific and made the experience a positive one. Elena makes an awesome martini, and Bobby was a friendly welcoming personality. Ben was awesome during dinner. Hotel staff should take lessons from the restaurants customer service training. Front Desk team is as cold as Elena’s martinis. Never a greet or smile unless we initiated. Not very welcoming. Room was fine. Bathroom not fine. Never stood in a tub that creaked before. Cheap bath fitter tub/shower, hospital room bathroom feel. Bed was comfy. Small pool which served its purpose for a quick refreshing dip. Wound consider a return but definitely wound explore other options as well.

We had to wait for an hour to get into our room. No one was at the desk. We called the number, rang the bell, looked throughout the property, etc. We were about to sleep in our car and finally someone showed up. No apology. We only slept a few hours.

The location was perfect. Being in the middle of Main Street provided quick access to restaurants and shopping. Plus, only a short walk to the beach
