A decent place to stay for the price. Staff was very responsive and helpful. Parking lot was well-lit and seemed secure.

You get what you pay for. I knew this hotel was cheap, but the reviews seemed decent so I decided to book it. The lady at the front desk was very kind and sweet, and I truly hate leaving a negative review because of that.
However, I was traveling alone cross-country with my two kids, and after being there only a couple of hours I felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I tried to convince myself I was just anxious from traveling alone, but I couldn’t shake the feeling. Out of every stop we made on this trip, this was the only place that made me feel this way.
While there, I found a cockroach in the bathroom, and there was also a loose dog repeatedly running around my car and room area while I was trying to reload our belongings. By 8 PM, before it was even dark outside, I realized that if I already felt this uneasy, I did not want to stay there through the night with my children.
I ended up leaving and booking another hotel nearby. The staff there told me locals generally avoid this hotel because it is known for long term stays, homelessness, and drug activity. I personally did not witness any drug activity myself, but I can say I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time I was there. The sense of relief I felt walking into the new hotel was overwhelming.
Again, the front desk employee at this hotel was very kind, and I appreciate her kindness. I just ultimately had to trust my instincts for the safety and comfort of myself and my children.

The lady at front desk was great, but over night we had a ceiling leak in the bathroom and it got flooded. We cleaned up the best we could, but no one was at the front counter and ringing the bell outside the door got no response. We then tried calling the hotel number we were given checking in and got no answer. We would not stay there again.
