Awesome hidden jem.
Don't judge a book by its cover would aptly describe this wonderful little motel.
I stayed here on my trip through Colorado and was pleasantly surprised. It's an older building but it is kept up well. Run by a friendly couple who have made it into something akin to their private home.
It's tucked behind a small shopping center and next to another newer motel. The rooms are clean, spacious and quiet. My room was the second from the end by the highway and I barely heard the traffic. 2 queen beds, nice fridge with freezer, coffeepot, microwave and TV and free wi-fi.
The free breakfast includes coffee, tea, yogurt, juice, cereal, fruit, hard boiled eggs, muffins, bagles, bread, and oatmeal. The seating area is small but comfortable with TV, a couple of tables, comfortable chairs and a small fountain.
There is also a nice area outside with comfortable chairs and a couch to sit and converse, relax and enjoy the evening.
If you're traveling through this nice little town or have planned a couple of nights stay, you can't go wrong with the Alpine Inn.

Toilet was loose, Free TV was mostly reality and commercials; but everything was clean, bed was comfortable. Good selection in the vending machines. The hotel is on the main drag.

The room, bathroom, bed, towels, everything clean!! Very pleasant lady at the desk when we checked in. Room was QUIET at night, bed comfortable. Only thing was the bathroom ceiling looked like it had previous water damage, and needed to be repainted. BUT, this did not detract from our great stay. We would book this place again. Very convenient to highway, as well.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They even provided daily room cleanup, which I've been conditioned NOT to expect these days!

Always a good experience at the Alpine. Simple, basic, well kept, every time. Breakfast was no exception. It was healthy and well stocked. Parking was easy, staff accommodating, beds nice, warm showers, with nice TV’s that work and easy to navigate. I always look forward to my stay at the Alpine Inn!
