Dearborn Inn Amazing

Stayed at the Dearborn Inn and it was absolutely amazing. The property is beautiful from the moment you arrive—classic charm with a peaceful, upscale feel. The room was clean, comfortable, and honestly felt heavenly, especially the bed and linens.
Everything about the stay felt well cared for, from the grounds to the overall atmosphere. It’s one of those places that just feels relaxing the second you walk in. Definitely a great choice if you’re looking for something a little more special than a standard hotel stay.
Would absolutely stay again.

Miriam at the front desk was incredibly helpful. She went out of her way to make our stay with you as enjoyable as possible. We arrived early and she was able to find rooms that were ready despite the hotel being full.
We were disappointed with the food at the restaurant. I was pleased to see that there were gluten free options on the menu. I had the fish with cornbread crust. It was mostly coating, very little fish. It was served without the sauce. I had to ask for it. Everything sounded delicious on the menu but was ordinary.

Looking Forward to Returning

I stayed two nights in one room, and my guest stayed two nights in another.
What's to love:
- Parking is easy. The lot had many spaces, and it's very close to the hotel
- The property has the personality and charm that is often found in Autograph Collection Hotels
- Both my guest and I were upgraded. He was upgraded to the Vice President suite, which he loved
- Newly renovated; very attractive public spaces and sleeping rooms
- Complimentary breakfast and bonus points for Titanium members
- Nice bath products (my hair looked great!)
- Comfortable bed; dark room; quiet room; could control temperature; clean; good shower water pressure and temperature
- Troy Shoemaker, in Marketing, was quick to assist when I had an issue (and it was after standard work hours)
- Outdoor space. Beautiful lawn
- Water dispensers
- Late checkout request (2:30 pm) accommodated
Room for improvement:
- Engineering is required to turn off the loud/uncomfortable fan/vent
- My curling iron didn't work with the outlet next to the mirror in either room
- No food service between 2:30 and dinner service
- Bar menu/food: meh. (But friendly server)

We hope to have the opportunity to welcome both you and your guest back again soon.

This hotel stinks in every sense of the word

Shocked at the indifference of the front desk staff. They seemed surprised at my presence at the front desk because they (two women) were giving all their attention to their cell phones. There unfriendliness continued from there. Short answers that seemed almost contemptuous. Many members of staff, front desk and housekeeping, need hygiene lessons. The building has a pretty outside appearance but is musty inside. Bacteria house. And it's difficult to think of a worse location for a hotel. I'll be staying at The Henry if I ever choose a Marriott hotel again (unlikely) in this awful town.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, ann0yedt. I’m very sorry to hear about your experience, as this is not the level of service or professionalism we expect from our team.
Your comments regarding the front desk interaction, cleanliness, and overall condition of the hotel are concerning, and I would truly appreciate the opportunity to learn more about your stay so we can address these issues directly with our team.
If you’re open to it, please feel free to reach out to me personally at your convenience. I would welcome the chance to speak with you, better understand what occurred, and work toward making this right.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

Everything about this hotel is beautiful and elegant. Our drinks in front of the fireplace was the perfect way to end our day.
