Visit to Decatur, AL

The hotel badly needs updated.
The breakfast was poor….
Not much to choose from!
That is why we chose Home2Suites;
they have always been good.
This one was a disappointment.
Having said that….the employees were very nice and courteous.
No complaints in that category!
We won’t go back to Decatur.

Called 1 week ahead to arrange for late check out on my last day. They said no problem. Then on my last day they not only didn't honor the late check out, the cleaning crew kicked me out of my room - no apologies, nothing. Won't be staying her again.

Pleasent surprise

We had a great time here at Home2 Suites. We would come back here again. The staff was friendly and helpful. I spoke with the front desk and housekeeping. This place is conveniently located in Decatur. The View of the Tennesse river was nice. The free breakfast was convenient. Nothing to write home about. The lobby and rooms looked very taken care of. The pool was outside, but we did not use it due to 32-degree weather. The gym is inside near the entrance, and it looked clean and not used. Their parking lot during my stay was packed. Some company "Cook's Pest Control" was having some sort of training and put up a bunch of employees.

Great hotel with friendly staff

Wonderful hotel and great staff, especially Carolyn, the breakfast lady. Hotel has a river view and the cheapest washer and dryer in town - only $.75 cents to either wash or dry clothes. Complimentary water and snacks was also a plus since most hotels charge for these items.
