Clearly used to be apartments but the transition to a hotel has been amazing. Very clean, friendly and accommodating and for the value compared to big chains I will never stay anywhere but here as long as my son is in college. 5 star

Review of the Mountain, There was a dog in the room next to me, and it barked all night. When I stay at a hotel, I expect peace
During my recent stay, I was disturbed by a dog barking throughout the night in an adjacent room. When selecting accommodations, I anticipate a peaceful and quiet environment. If the hotel intends to permit pets, I suggest designating a specific floor for guests traveling with dogs. This would enable guests who prefer not to be around animals or who have allergies to enjoy their stay without disruption. Additionally, I recommend prohibiting pets from areas where food is served.

There were ants in the breakfast area, and we saw a mouse in the stairwell. We told the front desk staff about the ants, and she cleaned up the microwave they were all over, but there were still bits of food on the floor when she was done wiping so they were already back a few minutes later. We had to use that microwave because the one in our room had a turntable that didn’t work. Just wasn’t super clean and we will not be back.

This has definitely been the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had! Everything about this hotel was not what I would expect from Hotels.com
The hotel was not well kept at all. Walls were dirty, bed squeaky, rust everywhere, cigarette butts and trash all over the ground outside. When I pulled up to check in I had to wait for the attendant to finish her smoke before she could help me! The breakfast was horrible with very few options….. I could go on and on about how horrible this place is but the very worst thing that happened was the rat that woke me up from sleep and scurried under the air conditioner! I frantically called the hotel desk for help but of course there was no answer so needless to say I was up all night with all of the lights on scared to talk asleep because I didn’t want the rat to return! The next morning I went to the desk to complain about the night and all they offered me was a $38 refund and a rat trap! I no longer trust hotels.com because of this. Why would you have such a horrible hotel on your website? I suggest you visit this place and judge for yourself.

I was very disappointed in the hotel! My room had 2 queen beds. One of the beds had surface dirt on the sheets, and almost looked like it was slept in because of all the wrinkles in the sheets. I was tired, so went to 2nd bed. There were 2 long dark hairs near the pillow that were not mine. Exhausted from travel, I rolled over only to see the sheets were stained with dark coloring once folded down a bit. The TV didn't work, so I called the front desk and was told there was no one to help me that night. I left the next day, and took the financial hit on the remaining 4 nights that were booked. As I went down the elevator with my bags, I looked at the corners of the floor that were covered in dirt and dust. Years ago, this used to be a nice accommodation. I highly advise booking elsewhere! It simply takes a caring owner, manager and staff to make a comfortable stay for guests. I don't think anyone here cared about the guests at all.
