Great stay. Would return.

Motorcycle trip around Lake Superior. Staff was very accommodating and helpful with restaurant suggestions. Rooms were very clean and quiet. Good value.

This hotel is a do it yourself maid service. You can request what you want but then keep your fingers crossed if you expect it. Not enough maids.
Pillows are lumpy and not comfortable. Beds are OK. Room seemed clean but the entire building is quite old and needs refurbishing. When desk people were there they were very accomodating and friendly to work with but often no one was there.
The location is very good so I have stayed there several times but always wish there was an alternative in that site.
Breakfast room needed more attention at times.

Oh, where to begin

First room was not cleaned and looked like a crime scene. Second room smelled like an ash tray. Third only had one bed. Everything felt neglected and run down.

Dark parking

No security lights on in the back parking lot... VERY DARK. Otherwise, things were average. Rooms were OK and basic. Breakfast basic, crowded.

Room was clean, but the price was outrageous, close to $300. For what they charged, everything should have been perfect. Yet the ice machine on both the first and second floor were not working. The sauna would not get hot. The breakfast area was messy, with nobody available to help. We will avoid Duluth in the future.
