Top Notch! Fabulous stay! Loved the historical charm

What a charming inn. It was recommended to me by my sister who stayed several years back. We wanted to find a different town to check out and we were traveling with a lot of items in our car so we wanted it somewhere safe but also a place we could explore. We absolutely loved the history of this town and all the beautiful Victorian homes. We had an incredible dinner in town. Saw a movie at the movie theater and absolutely love this inn. We did not get to stay for breakfast, but we did have the chocolate covered strawberries, which were fabulous and we stayed in room number four. We will be back thank you for your wonderful hospitality and beautiful accommodations.

Beautiful Historic home and so comfortable!

My husband and I were celebrating our Anniversary. We were on a road trip without a destination in mind. It was getting late and we were both tired,hungry and ready to find a spot for the night. We passed a few B&B's but they just looked plain and small. We drove by The Inner Banks Inn and it was gorgeous! Keeping our fingers crossed we entered the Inn and were met by Susan. We explained our situation and she was so gracious! We were offered lodging, food and wine! The house is beautifully appointed, large rooms and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable of any fine hotel i have stayed at. We loved it so much we asked to stay another night!

Historic B&B in downtown Edenton

A lovely B & B Inn with historic, well appointed rooms! All of the staff are very friendly, engaging and service oriented. The room and the bed were comfortable; however, the cleanliness was less than expected (but manageable). The breakfasts were delicious but the timing was a problem... must've been trouble in the kitchen. Each day, we ordered our breakfast in advance (as is required). The first day our food was served promptly. But on last day, food took 30 minutes to come out to the table which meant we had to eat in a rush, then check out in a rush, and we still arrived ten minutes late to our realtor appointment.

Our 57th wedding anniversary weekend in Edenton

We first made reservations at another Inn, however with my disability, it didn't work out. The Inn keeper at that Inn (GIGI) went above and beyond and got us a booking at the Inner Banks. She took us to the Inner Banks and made sure we were pleased with the new accommodations (which we were very much so). Our stay at the Inner Banks was, as we celebrated our 57th wedding anniversary. The breakfasts were over the top and our server (Terric) was very accommodating and friendly. Amy the Inn keeper was very helpful and our whole experience at the Inn made our weekend anniversary memorable experience. Thanks everyone that we met in Edenton, NC, very friendly people.
