Very clean and modern recent remodel. The manager lady was fantastic. Rooms are a little small, but they are working with 1930s architecture. There are some great restaurants in Encampment/Riverside. If you're into quiet mountain towns with minimal people around that have access to endless outdoors this is the place to be. There is some interesting history in the town itself. I will stay here again.

Great little place in the middle of nowhere. Joan was a phenomenal host to our families as we were there for a memorial ceremony and she ensured we had nothing to worry about. Would stay again!!

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. Next door to a good restaurant and was a short walk to everything in town. Tons of trails nearby and about 20 minutes from the hot spring in Saratoga.

We booked several rooms for a company Christmas party we were hosting in the area--Joan was amazing to work with! Rooms were clean and updated and check-in was a breeze.

Worth a Visit

I lived for part of my childhood in Encampment and stayed at the motel during a visit in my 20’s. The new owner has done a wonderful job of renovating. The rooms are clean, well appointed and charming. The staff friendly, helpful and informative. The Divide Restaurant is next door whose chef previously worked with a celebrity chef off of “Hell’s Kitchen. Great high end food and liquor. It’s worth a stop or stay.
