Don’t stay here

Complete hole in the wall that has zero maintenance. Towel rack falling off wall, dead bolt already missing from the last time the cops kicked the door in and the bathroom door had a Johnny size axe cut. Needs some serious TLC. Furniture all beat up and ice machine was also broken.

Price Is A Secret

It says $55. I never get a receipt. thinking it must be in the low $60's with fees. I check my bank account and find out it is $77.70!
Priceline says: "Cost per night $55.25 1 room
Taxes and fees $6.08
Total charges $61.33
It is ranked 40th out of the 41 in Eugene.

Laziest.Staff.Ever. A dead guy works harder than them.

As I was writing this review @3am, I went out to smoke, when a guy who looked like he had just finished a drug deal with this another guest, walked down the steps at an adjacent room. He looked at and asked “if I was into drugs. Clearly looked like he attempting to make another drug sale at the Econo Lodge. When I told him to leave me alone, the guy approached another guest with the same question. If management doesn’t know about this problem, they are lying or stupid. I'd go however with lazy and stupid
Stayed here twice before because they had smoking rooms and away from campus crowds. But these are the laziest hotel people, I have ever seen at a hotel. It is a parade of “I can’t” and “I’m not able to”, or its after “7 pm so we don’t have access to …”. One time, they told me they couldn’t get me some towels at 8pm “because of the pandemic.” This stay, I asked a clerk to check and see when a smoking room would be available. She was too lazy to go to the computer and check. They are real good at “I can’t”. They go out of their way to do nothing. THEY SUCK AT SERVICE. Its no wonder this place is ranked #39 out of 40 hotels in Eugene on Trip Adviser. One guest wrote on this site: "Hell is more comfortable" than this Hotel.
I’m sure their Upper Management at Choice Hotels knows of the problems. And if you call and complain as I did, they will reply with fake sympathy to your problem, maybe give you some free reward points to act like they care. But they don’t. And its a miracle if they ever fixed the problems you complain about. They already got your money, so “f**k you. They’re looking for the next sap. They treat guests like people to be placated and played with, not as CUSTOMER to be helped and served . The Monica Lewinsky of Hotels -- They Suck at Everything except Being Lazy. They’re freakin’ excellent at lazy. RUN FROM THIS PLACE AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

NASTY

I have stayed in a few cheap hotels in my day but this was by far the worst I have ever seen. Pillow cases stained yellow. Stains and burns on the comforter. Mold in the tub. Could barely get the door open as the desk was in the way. Long black hairs all over the bed. Thankfully I booked through priceline and was able to get a refund and get a room elsewhere.

Worst motel experience ever

Checkout time is 11:00 and I needed to stay until 12 because my motorcycle broke down and I was getting picked up to go home but my ride wouldn’t get here until 12... they wanted to charge me $20 per hour to stay in the room until my ride got there... Ridiculous! I refused to pay, and hauled all my luggage to the front office (which took me three trips with no help) and sat there in the 90 degree heat for an hour waiting to get picked up...
