Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay at this inn and would definitely recommend it to others. The property is quaint, charming, and exceptionally clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our visit.
The one thing I'd caution future guests about is room selection. Our room was very small, so it's worth paying close attention when booking to ensure you choose a room that best suits your needs.
The complimentary breakfast was average and nothing particularly memorable, but it's a great perk for travelers and certainly appreciated. Overall, the cozy atmosphere, cleanliness, and excellent service made for a very enjoyable stay.

The property exceeded my expectations. Interesting, historic building (though about to under go a big renovation) in a lovely, lively, little town.
Rooms were clean, simply but nicely furnished, and comfortable. Bathroom was up to date and clean. Staff were super helpful.
Overall very good value.

The experience beings, of all places, in the clean, spacious parking lot in back. From there, a pleasant walk through the green space in back to the hotel was pleasant. Once inside, the woman at the desk was welcoming and generous, offering information about the hotel, the area and either a free glass of Champagne or sparking water. The room was well appointed. The free continental breakfast was ample and inviting. Too much to choose from, but one can always go for seconds. Overall, the property is a must if you are in the area.

Historic property that needs renovation (which I believe is planned). Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Entire hotel is tired and worn but comfortable nonetheless. Restaurant food was good but pricey compared to other dining options. Ambiance needs an upgrade (also planned I understand)

The Exeter In. Is a beautiful historic inn recently purchased which will bring much needed updates to this gem. The rooms will gradually be updated……the restaurant is very good and staff very helpful. Full breakfast as part of the stay, easy parking but needs to become handicapped accessible. There is an elevator but steps on front and side entry.
