Ferndale Gingerbread Mansion Inn... YES

Truly, one of the best experiences my wife and I have had in all our travels. Our room was exactly as expected, the service was complimentary, and the afternoon food and wine and breakfast were exquisitely prepared, very fresh, and tasty. We stayed in the Veneto room. Next time, we will elevate our experience. Five stars *****.

We had a confirmed prepaid reservation for one night booked a month in advance. The day we arrived, we were told they did not have a room for us. Absolutely unacceptable. Steer clear of this place.

Horrible person at check-in!

I prepaid for two nights a month ago but was told they double booked when I tried to check in. They shrugged me off, said I couldn’t stay, and were completely unapologetic.

The gingerbread mansion was an absolute treat! It completely exceeded my expectations. The decor was true to the period our room was spacious, the morning breakfast were fantastic, and the staff was available for whatever we needed.

Great getaway! Lovely bed and breakfast in a beautiful walkable town. Quiet surroundings as you take a step back in time. Delicious breakfast! Best I’ve had all year. They care for the surroundings with great detail. This was a wonderful mother daughter weekend.
