Room was amazing. The balcony had a ton of cobwebs on the handrails and chairs. Beautiful view!! Needs a better elevator. Breakfast was pretty lack luster.

Disappointed!!

We were disappointed with our stay. Facility was nice. Unfortunately, our room had a window overlooking the pool. No natural light. Noise from pool kept us up one night. Pool is open until midnight. Two girls were playing loud music. Called the front desk. No answer. My husband had to get dressed and go to front desk to address problem. The next day, we spoke to the manager who was not too concerned. Laura in breakfast room was friendly and hard working. Would not stay here again.

First visit to Traverse City/Cherry Tree

Everything about this hotel met our expectations. Staff were personable and the amenities were perfect. Thanks for a very nice stay!

Early access to the room was permitted. It was just as described on the website. Nice easy access on the ground floor with a view of the bay.

Beautiful Beach, No Internet

We enjoyed our stay, though the internet was terrible (not usable) and there was a lot of light coming into the bedroom from the hallway windows (why are there hallway windows?) that made it difficult to sleep. I was also disappointed to learn that the room didn't have a bath, but instead had a shower. I probably could have learned that ahead of time, but it is more difficult to manage a shower than a bath for kids. The fan was disgusting, covered in dust, but we also could not reach the pulls to turn it on, so it didn't really matter. The beach is beautiful, well maintained, and has a lot of chairs and a volleyball net. We did not use either pool, but they looked nice. We enjoyed the free cookies and hot breakfast. I do not appreciate the AI assistant used by this hotel and would prefer to speak to their lovely human staff instead, who were all very helpful and nice.
