A Wonderful Stay at SpringHill Suites Kentucky Downs
Our stay at SpringHill Suites at The Mint Kentucky Downs exceeded every expectation!
As someone who's a bit of a clean freak, I have to start by saying this may be one of the cleanest hotels I've ever stayed in. Everything—from our guest room to the hallways and common areas—was absolutely spotless. The room itself was spacious, warm, and inviting, with soft, comfortable linens, plenty of storage, a cozy sitting area, a writing desk, and a bright, modern bathroom. Waking up to a view of the Kentucky Downs racetrack was something I'll never forget—it was such a unique Kentucky experience.
The location is another huge plus. Being connected directly to The Mint Gaming Hall made it so easy to walk to the restaurants, Circa Sportsbook, and entertainment without ever having to move the car. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start the morning, and I only wish we'd had more time to enjoy the beautiful outdoor pool, patio, and fire pits.
What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the people. Every member of the staff was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and eager to help. From the thoughtful welcome note, cookies, and bottled water waiting in our room to the outstanding hospitality we experienced throughout our stay, it was clear this team truly cares about its guests.

Whether you're visiting for Kentucky Downs, The Mint, a sporting event, or simply looking for a relaxing overnight getaway, this hotel checks every box. Same room type as an earlier trip stay, great for 6 people in a single room. My granddaughter loved the oatmeal (who knew!) and my grandson would have liked waffles. Thanks for providing healthy breakfast choices.
Clean and spacious room. The courtyard between the event center and race track were well used allowing a safe place for the kids to burn off some energy before continuing our trip.

It was an awesome experience. We were able to relax. We played a little at the Casino. And had a wonderful dinner at the Irons Steakhouse. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Fourth of July Stay
I accidentally booked the Springhill Suites in Franklin TN and Justin helped me cancel my that reservation and booked me a room on the ground level. Room was clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast had plenty of food items. No charge for parking and the hotel is adjacent to the Casino next door.

Loved it. Clean
2 adults and 2 teen stayed in 2 queen plus pullout. We did the Sunday funday promo. Paid $119 but also received $40 food voucher plus snacks upon check in. Great price! The hotel was clean and fresh. We didn’t swim but the pool looked awesome and very clean. The patio was well kept and huge. Great space. The fitness room we did use and it was great. The temp was cool in there and perfect for the family to get in a workout. The lobby was well kept. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was your standard but it was fresh and well maintained. Parking was ample. Our room was clean and comfortable. Seemed new. The beds were comfortable. The room was a good size. The only negatives I would give are the thermostat was bright and lit up the whole room like a light on the wall so that was annoying. And I also don’t like that the bathroom door was frosted glass. It let too much light in the room and my kids didn’t like that you could see shadows when someone was using it. Also the hallway is like a mile long.
Overall - great stay. Very clean! Would recommend and would stay again. Cleanliness is my top priority and this hotel did not disappoint!!
