Solid Location and Cleanliness at Smarter Price

This old-school hotel exceeded my expectations with its cleanliness and remarkably friendly staff.
The daily maid service is a surprising amenity, while basement hot-tub adds a quirky charm to the setup.
The highlights?
- Great locations
- Clean rooms
- Complimentary morning coffee is perfectly strong, though I'd recommend skipping the packaged pastries.
Having stayed here and at the big-name hotel across the street, I assure you that tripling your expenses doesn't necessarily mean tripling the enjoyment.
For friendliness, cleanliness, and comfort, New Summit Inn excels. I'm giving this 3-star hotel an extra star! Would stay here again.

TRASH HOTEL STAY AWAY.

WORST HOTEL STAY EVER, ALMOST ARRESTED FOR TRYING TO SLEEP. After a day of driving almost 20 hrs I check in for two nights to this hotel in the evening only to find out the sauna and hot tub are only open for 4 hrs a day. So I go to bed. The staff here are loud and clearly waking people up to get them out. I wake up two hrs before check out and make sure my do not disturb thing is still on my door handle, after listening to what sounded like a soccer match out side my door for more then a hour, my phone rings. Its the front desk telling me water will be shut off for a hour. Then about 10 minutes later the staff knocks on my door with the Do not disturb still hanging on the handle saying some stuff in another language. So I decide this place is not going to let me sleep and grab my things and yell at the lady at the front desk and throw my key on the floor. About 5 mins after leaving i get pulled over for what she claimed was assault. I was then detained on the side if the road for 45 mins while the cops went to watch the video at the hotel to prove there was no assault. Some people have been at a job to long or they try to rush their staff to keep their hours short or something. STAY AWAY FROM this hotel that wont let you sleep.

Adequate not more

This is an aging older style property. Very small rooms, no lobby to speak of, el cheapo breakfast which was coffee and celophane wrapped generic pastries. The rate is the only positive here, but watch out because the posted price on these websites does not reflect their "service charge" which is an underhanded way to make the rate appear lower than it really is. OK for a one day stay as you're driving thru and don't want to pay the higher prices at other hotels.

Sick of Paying Breckinridge prices?

This is a nice, clean small venue which is a good overnight stop. The management has this streamlined and efficient. Rooms are fairly spacious while not fussy. You do get a coffeemaker and refrig. I recommend for a good short stay.

A little confusing

To start it was confusing to find this place because the name hasn't been changed from Baymont to Summit Inn on the outside and nobody told me this, even when I spoke to them on the phone.
It's a decent place. Needs some upgrading. The room was basic but comfortable.
A towel was shoved under the hallway door to prop it open. What?? Couldn't they come up with something better than that?
Some serious attention to detail needs to happen.... the bed skirt was too long and frayed and caused me to trip a couple of times without serious injury. It looked like they had wadded up the drapes and then hung them up. Simple things make big impressions!
