The staff were super accommodating. Manager got us Top Floor suite after I was unsuccessful with that through Expedia. All of the hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Breakfast was perfect for us. Parking was great. Location is near anything you’d need. Free HBO and place did not smell of smoke. 
Probably about ready for new mattresses, at least in suite we were in and lavatory is kind of low. Perfect height if you’re 5’ tall though.

Ughmmm how much ?

Reserved 2 ( very overpriced) rooms ( in winter) one we had to reject due to Smokey smell and didn't want to get blamed.. the other, in the morning the bathroom also smelled smokey, and the heater made a very strong buzzing sounds..grrrr for this price i expected much higher standards.. Also the property is listed as truck friendly, I do not think this should be the case as parking is single track around the building

TOP DOLLAR FOR SLUM BATHROOM

After a long exhausting travel back from MA, stopped at the Georgetown Microtel to get some sleep before finishing our drive to VA. Broken shower rod barely hanging on by one screw didn’t allow me to take a shower to loosen up my back this morning. Not happy at all! They obviously had to have seen it before they neatly tucked the curtain in to make it look fancy. After paying top dollar (more than it would’ve cost to stop at Ballys in Dover on a Saturday) I would expect more. Did even offer to compensate. Just said”I’ll let the manager know.” I WOULD HOPE SO!!

The room was very clean, excellent.
The front desks staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great.
The mattress was old, rounded down on both sides and uncomfortable. The knob in the shower was broken and hanging loosely.
It's a shame to see a staff work hard to keep things clean and friendly but there isn't repairs and regular upkeep of things like old mattresses and shower knobs.
