Housekeeping was phenomenal

Housekeeper Ellen did a fantastic job resetting my room each day. The room was clean, extra towels provided and the bed was made to perfection. After a long day at work it was refreshing to open the door at room 2008 and see a perfect room. Mahalo Ellen!

Our stay was extremely disappointing. We had booked 2 rooms, both Deluxe King rooms for 5 nights, and for that we expected a reasonable standard. One room was located on the 7th floor and the other room on the 8th floor and on our first night the noise from the street was terrible, it was if we had cars and motorbikes in our room. The next morning we went down to reception and asked to be moved to a higher floor as our rooms were just too noisy but we were told they had no rooms available but could move us the following day. However, moving us would cost us $30 a day for each room as an "upgrade". We had no choice as we couldn't sleep in the low floor rooms from the street noise. On the day of the move we had to check out, leave our cases and come back in the evening so we had no room for the day but still had to pay $180 for an upgraded room when we eventually got it.
It was extremely disappointing to have to pay an extra $180 just to be able to get some sleep when we had already paid $2500 for 2 "Deluxe" rooms, there was nothing deluxe about them.

Relaxing Home Away From Home

Clean, modern boutique hotel. Friendly staff and efficient check-in and check-out process. Complimentary beach chairs/umbrellas for outings. Great, relaxing home away from home. Great views and amenities throughout with gym, Jacuzzi, and wading pool. Looking forward to our next stay.
