You know the old adage. “Do not judge a book by its cover. “The outside of the courtyard Marriott is very disappointing. Run down parking lot, fake Christmas trees still on display.”

Meh
Front desk staff was friendly, check in was easy, and the room was clean. But our experience at the bistro was not good. We asked if it was still open, ordered tomato soup and grilled cheese, and the soup came out cold. When I asked him to heat it up, he rolled his eyes, and it came back still lukewarm. When I asked again, he got visibly upset, banging things around in the kitchen. It made us very uncomfortable. I told the front desk manager, but got no reaction at all.
Overall, a pleasant stay soured by a rude bistro employee and a manager who didn’t seem to care.

Way to pricey for the stay.
Way over priced and poor quality for a national chain. I am Bonvoy member and the stay at this location at the rate I paid was extremely disappointing. Cheap bedding, dinghy halls and rooms, and so over priced. I passed on a number of local hotel that were half the rate thinking it was safe to rely on a national chain which I thought had some uniform standards. Not the case in Hyannis. Ick.

Amazing consistency through a tough winter.
My acapella chorus held a retreat here on the week after the blizzard. Despite all the difficulties of the power outages they had the entire hotel running smoothly for both us and dozens of imported electric workers who were restoring power to the rest of Cape Cod. Rooms were all very clean, which is amazing for a hotel over a cold winter. The desk people were all extremely helpful. The Bistro’s food may not be perfect, but certainly is good for a winter visit when traveling to local spots is less desired. And in our case when 45 people descended for breakfast between 8&9 the people there certainly did well. Also, they actually have a lifeguard in the pool till 10pm, which is great for ringing a few last chords before bed.

I was mostly disappointed with the heating system.
It was very loud and took long time to heat one room. I was also not happy with the smell of bleach in the water from the faucet.
