Briar Patch Inn is truly a hidden gem in Sedona. From the moment you arrive, there’s an immediate sense of peace. The beautiful creekside setting, charming cabins, and quiet surroundings make it feel like you’ve stepped away from the busyness of everyday life.
Every detail feels thoughtful and intentional, and the property has a warmth that makes you want to slow down and simply enjoy where you are in time and space.
What we loved most was how easy it was to reconnect with nature, with each other, and with the beauty God created all around us.
Sedona is already breathtaking, but staying at Briar Patch made the experience even more special. It doesn’t feel like just another place to stay; it feels like a retreat.
We left refreshed, grateful, and already talking about coming back. If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, beautiful, welcoming, and truly unique while visiting Sedona, Briar Patch Inn is absolutely worth it.

amazing, exceptional, wonderful staff

The Briar Patch Inn is a true gem! I was at such peace while I was there. I had an amazing massage the morning we left. I love water and nature, so this place was a 10/10 for me.

Eden in Sedona

This is a lovely hotel with cabins, trails, a river running through it, two resident sheep, Hammocks, a swimming hole and lush vegetation. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The vibe is relaxing and quiet. The cabins are tastefully decorated and comfortable with outdoor seating and fireplaces. A delicious breakfast is provided with seating above the river. Highly recommend!

Dreaming of coming back

If you are looking for the perfect place to truly unplug, unwind, and reconnect, Briar Patch Inn is pure magic. We stayed in the Kingfisher room creekside, and it was honestly one of the most romantic and peaceful places we have ever experienced.
The beds and pillows were unbelievably comfortable — truly the best sleep we’ve had in years. At night, we left the charming Dutch doors open so we could fall asleep to the sound of the rushing creek. We built a fire in the fireplace, listened to the water, and completely escaped from the world. It felt like therapy for the soul.
Just a few miles up the road from the hotter temperatures, the cool creekside setting made it feel like a hidden retreat tucked into nature. We even enjoyed breakfast by the creek, which made the experience even more special.
The homemade breakfasts were incredible, fresh, and thoughtful every morning. And Polly was an absolute gem — warm, attentive, welcoming, and truly on point with every detail. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.
This place is special. Romantic, relaxing, cozy, and unforgettable. We are already dreaming about coming back.

Beautiful, quiet retreat from the tourists

We went last week during Easter week- the best part of the day was coming back to our cabin! Amongst all the traffic- we were in our own oasis, beautiful property, quiet, wonderful breakfast in the main cabin or out by the creek, massage by the creek- everyone was so amazing! We are so happy we got to meet the beautiful Joanne Olson. We were in Bluejay- perfect for 2
