Off-Season is a GREAT time to visit the Rustic Inn in Jackson!

I had the opportunity to visit Jackson at the end of April and I found Jackson to be a fun place to visit. Off-season rates are favorable at The Rustic Inn. From check-in, I found the staff friendly and helpful. My cabin was roomy, clean, and comfortable. High end amenities are provided for the bathroom. A large, clean shower that included a rainfall shower head was a nice touch. The comfortable mattress provided a great night of sleep! I especially enjoyed relaxing in the cool mountain air in the Adirondack chairs on our cabin's front porch.
The Rustic Inn provides a lovely complimentary breakfast. I appreciated the made-to-order omelettes, cheesy eggs with salsa, and good, crispy bacon. Along with the fresh fruits, yogurt, and coffee and tea, breakfast provided a formidable start to our day.
The well-manicured property includes a small creek and pond where waterfowl can be spotted. The nature trail that cuts through the property makes for a pleasant walk any time of day or night. Stargazing from the backyard swings is a relaxing pastime.
We enjoyed visiting the National Elk Refuge (which is right across the street from The Rustic Inn) and viewing hundreds of migrating elk and big horn sheep. The entrance to Grand Teton National Park is only a few miles away, but even without entering the park, there's still plenty of scenic spots to enjoy, including the National Museum of Wildlife Art, R-Park (which includes the giant wooden troll sculpture, Mama Mimi), and Wedding Tree in Bridger-Teton National Forest.
The town of Jackson is about a 10-minute walk from the inn, or a complimentary shuttle will take guests to their destination. Plenty of establishments were open -- In fact, the off-season might be a preferred time to go if skiing and other winter activities are not the main attraction. Their limited hours are overcome by the specials and reduced prices intended to draw in patrons.
In terms of hospitality, cleanliness, location, and price, I can see why Rustic Inn is ranked one of the top resorts in the state of Wyoming!

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and detailed review, Suzanne. We truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.
You captured exactly what so many guests love about visiting Jackson during the offseason—the quieter pace, easier access to the area’s natural beauty, and the opportunity to enjoy the property in a more peaceful setting. We’re so glad you enjoyed the cabin accommodations, breakfast offerings, outdoor spaces, and the overall atmosphere of the resort.
It’s also wonderful to hear that you were able to fully explore the area, from the National Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park to some of Jackson’s more unique local spots. Spring can be an incredibly special time here, and we’re happy you experienced that.
Most importantly, thank you for recognizing our team’s hospitality and the care that goes into maintaining the property and guest experience. Your kind words truly mean a great deal to all of us.
We hope to welcome you back to Rustic Inn again for another Jackson Hole adventure in the future.

Perfect Stay in Jackson Hole with Friends

I stayed at Rustic Inn Creekside Resort & Spa with a group of friends while visiting Jackson Hole, and we had such a great experience. We stayed in a Superior Double Queen Cabin, and the room was beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained.
The entire resort was clean and well kept. I especially loved the pool and bar area, and the complimentary breakfast each morning was a great added touch. The grounds and lake are absolutely beautiful and create such a peaceful setting.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The location is also excellent, and they offer a convenient shuttle that takes you to many places downtown.
I would definitely recommend this resort—it’s a great place to stay if you’re visiting Jackson Hole!

Never ever no way in hell

Horrible experience. The place was filthy and when we complained to the manager he copped a very bad attitude. He was lucky i didn’t deck him. We ended up leaving this cesspool and went to a nicer place right in town. This spot is not in town and you have to take a bus or you car to get into town. The adds make it look great but the place smells and the rooms are filthy. Find a place in town with a more competent manager that will help with your needs. This guy needs an attitude adjustment.

Wonderful stay but no hot water

We stayed one night which started out fine. Beautifully kept grounds and clean accommodations. The restaurant dinner was great, our meals and drinks were amazing. Try the bison filet! Our server Charlee was so friendly and efficient.
Unfortunately, our room didn't have hot water, lukewarm at best. After our wonderful breakfast, we informed the receptionist of the issue we had the prior evening. She asked if we used the hot water button? I explained we were never told about such button. How's a guest to know if they're not informed upon check-in nor is there anything in the bathroom stating this! Her response was- we should've called the front since they're open 24hrs. In closing, she didn't even know if our room had said button. Her co worker asked our room number, but that didn't make any difference because neither could confirm the information. Basically, plenty of back and forth without any apologies or basic customer service manners. We weren't looking for any credit or compensation, but certainly not a lecture on a "button" they didn't even know if the room had! Not professional in any sense, we had considered bringing our family for an extended vacation. But now after this experience, we are looking at other options in the area.

A glorious location and scenery little touches excellent

We loved it here. Wonderful log cabins looking out to the Creek . Ducks and Geese padding about . A flowing river. Looking up towards the mountains they have laid out wooden chairs in the shade a wigwam a little bridge . A wooden moose and fire pits. Just lovely in the day and at night when the pits are lit. I used the pool once, it’s a great area but of course attracts the children! The gym was well equipped. The room was really good with modern furniture it was very clean and the room service was impeccable. The coffee machine and wide screen TV were useful features. Breakfasts were OK lots of cold dishes like fruit yoghurt bagels etc but the eggs weren’t very tasty . There was too much in the basins and the scrambled eggs got cold quickly. Staff in the dining room were efficient. My only comment would have been that the reception staff and one bar tender were frosty. The walk into town was just 10 minutes , the shuttle bus service was amazing taking us to an out of town restaurant and the Rodeo and picking us up later in the evening, the driver was exceptional.
