Over and above

Taking a moment to recognize and highly recommend Silverbow Inn and Suites ~ Juneau, Alaska. Among the many amenities are rooftop hot tubs, outdoor fireplaces and sitting areas to enjoy the amazing views ️ The kindness of the staff is over and above. We had a pretty lousy experience the first night at our initial hotel and Tina welcomed us to check in very early the next day without a fee. Thank you again!!!

Great stay!

I have always enjoyed staying here. Amazing accommodations, friendly staff and breakfasts are just what o need!!! It’s a place I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a little more special and away from the typical tourist spots.

Not having an elevator made it difficult for me (age 81) and my husband (age 83). A staff member helped us with our luggage at check-in, but we were on our own when picked up at 5:50AM for our ride to the airport.

The staff is amazing, so helpful! Location outstanding, right downtown with great restaurants nearby. A resident porcupine walks down the sidewalk out front. We enjoyed the good breakfast and hot tub. Because of the downtown location, it can get noisy early in the morning. It is a refurbished older building, they did a remarkable job updating. There is no elevator and the stairs are steep, a concern for older customers or anyone with a disability.

Flight plans required us to leave before breakfast; the inn packed an unbelievably great box breakfast for us to take with us. The room was a tad tight but extremely well planned, with bedside reading lights and loads of wall pegs for clothes. The pillows, sadly, were not very comfortable...but overall this was a great place (and the In Bocca do Lupo was fantastic)
