Newly renovated bespoke Juneau hotel.
This hotel was a great choice for our stay. Our rooms were clean and nicely furnished, which made for a comfortable stay. The view of the harbor was delightful - seaplanes flying by, boats coming and going, pure Alaska stuff. There is a grocery store a few blocks away so you could walk down for food supplies, if need be. Check this newly renovated hotel out, the owners have put a lot of work into making it a nice place for you to stay while visiting this unique part of Alaska.

Noisy and costly!
Clean rooms but away from central Juneau! No food services as yet, but planned for the future- making breakfast a trip! Do try the Sandpiper Cafe for a hearty breakfast or Coppa for excellent baked goods - both significant walks or short rides. If up for a strenuous but lovely hike, trek up to the Gold Flume from this hotel - guaranteed to take your breath away! The hotel? Respectable but expensive and perhaps the noisiest I’ve been in! Its introductory music should be, “One Man’s Ceiling is Another Man’s Floor” Why? The ceiling of the first floor rooms (200 numbers) is of cedar planks, with no joists - so those ceiling planks are the floor floor the rooms above! Every footfall and dropped gumdrop resonates below for the sleep deprived, assuring fitful sleep! Either book the top floor or deploy industrial strength ear stoppers!

Road noise was awful until late at night. Otherwise, still getting their act together. No amenities to speak of. Location also not very good for walk ability. But it was clean and freshly updated.

False advertising - noisy, dirty and not remodeled!
False advertising!! the website and photos are not indicative of the actual rooms!
The actual hotel did not match the advertisement at all! It is not near being completely remodeled, there is no restaurant or bar. The only way to cool the room (which was 76 in rainy August) was to use a noisy box fan.
We were on the waterfront side, which was pleasant except it is located directly off the highway which is noisy 24/7.
No housekeeping ( and it looked like it could have used some, dirty dishes and dust on the countertops and under beds). Nice fridge/freezer, but no ice cube trays or drinking glasses. Good supply of coffee pods was nice. Had to request silverware.
No welcome to Juneau info,no pen, no pad in the room. Young children were allowed to run up and down the halls in later evening.
I think the worst part was the construction crew working until 930 and later!! Difficult enough to sleep with the heat and traffic noise, but having saws and hammering that late - unacceptable. I understand remodeling - but we paid top rates and were not told of the impact the construction would have on our stay. If and when the remodel is complete, it may be a nice stay - until then, definitely not worth the price! So disappointed!!

Not what it’s supposed to be
Photos are unrepresentative of the reality. This hotel is the worst hotel we have stayed in decades. Location bad, stuck us on ground level. Filthy floor. Bathroom cramped. Entrance door has large gap at bottom. Sheets not clean. Check in area cluttered. I could go on.
Way overpriced. Avoid this hotel.
