I love what they are doing here....

A local non-profit bought this place and a attached restaurant and is in the process of redeveloping the property. They are affiliated with the Creamery down the street and a smaller sister hotel downtown. They really know what they are doing even though its still being constructed, I feel it is going to be great.
That said, as you can see from the construction banner the restaurant was to be launched Spring 2026 and as of May 2026 I put construction at best at 60%. So, its not ready and the parking lot is dominated by construction vehicles during the day.
The hotel rooms are great. Large and built old school either poured concrete or cinder block. Saturday night the place was completely sold out and we didn't hear a thing.
Furniture, fixtures, bedding and housekeeping are first rate. everything is new and spotless. As for decoration each room is designed/themed by a local artist. See the web site for more...this was a great touch.
There is no front desk everything is managed remotely by Jen who was a pleasure to deal with on our early check in request.
I couldn't find much on this place on line so I took a bunch of pictures that are attached.
My only concern is when construction is finished and if the restaurant is full there will not be any parking. The guys who run the charity that own this place are urban planners so I am sure there is a plan ....it just wasn't apparent to me.
I went one star short of 5 because the place is not done yet. I hope to return.

Overall my stay was good. It was very convenient for visiting Longwood Gardens. Also, really enjoyed the nearby food hall and the coffee provided by the hotel. The only downside was the AC unit in the room; if you’re a light sleeper the noise will definitely wake you up. Besides that, I would totally stay again at this hotel.

The room was very clean and welcoming. Slept great, the bed was very cozy and comfortable The property and surrounded area was extremely quiet, no bothersome disturbances. Felt very safe having the police department so close. All the little touches made us feel at home. I'd definitely stay here again!

The room was clean, bright and beautiful. There is no front desk…no waiting around for a room assignment - keyless entry is great. When I needed to contact the property with questions, I received a prompt response from Jen who was courteous and polite. I will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful clean, well appt rooms. Each room is painted by a local artist. Plenty of parking and in walking distance to restaurants. There isn't any staff on the property. You get a code sent to you. If you book direct its not an issue, but we didnt get our code because we booked 3rd party. Thankfully someone who booked directly gave us the main office number. They answered right away and we were in our room in minutes. They were apologetic. So if you book 3rd party be sure to check your email. If you don't have a code, call ahead. We would definitely stay there again.
