Great visit

This was such a sweet and unique boutique hotel to stay at. We loved that there was a restaurant and bar on site, along with lots of outdoor hang out space. Free coffee in the morning was a wonderful treat. The bedrooms were clean, beautifully designed, had extremely comfortable beds, and high end products in the bathroom. Only complaints are that, while the products are Le Labo and smell amazing, they seemed extremely watered down, and also the room was very dark. I love not having overhead lighting but there weren’t enough lamps. If you require absolute silence, the bathroom walls are thin and you can hear periodic noise from the parking lot, but neither were bothersome at all to us. Otherwise, our stay was absolutely perfect and we’ll be recommending to others for sure.

Perfect experience!

We came up to see an event in Tanglewood. The location was perfect. The beds were super comfortable. The place is clean and cozy and the staff could not be kinder and the breakfast was also really good. I will come back here in a heartbeat.

I was disappointed in the hotel. It’s online marketing made it appear small
boutique with high end ammenities. In reality, it’s an overpriced motel. From the start I realized we had been vastly overcharged. It used to be a Days Inn, it sits on the highway. Check in was easy but then we were left alone, no one serviced the room over the two nights, no one refreshed towels, the bathroom products were sparse and low end, the room was tiny and felt very motel-like. There was a cool bat but it was never open. Strange that it tries to sell itself as high end. Extremely overpriced for what it offers.

We never really interacted with a human, Check in is done on an iPad in the lobby and you make your own key. It is quick and seamless. Rooms are motel-like and adequate, with some light and noise from the busy highway in front - but you might ask for a back room that looks out on the woods instead. Second floor rooms require stairs, there is no elevator.

Solid Stay

Since it's rebranding as Berkshires Untold I feel the overall experience has improved by the increase in human staffing presence vs reliance on automated systems. The property is well-maintained and is very comfortable indoors and out. Of course the location's convenience to many attractions of the Berkshires remains the same. I still stand by marketing over hyping the place as a resort, but fully endorse it as a really nice boutique two-story motel with a cozy lobby bar/restaurant and nice outdoor seating areas. I don't mean to damn it with faint praise, only to say to have realistic expectations. It's so much more appealing to me than a big chain hotel, but hardly a rural retreat being on a busy highway. Book and enjoy it for what it is.
