Comfortable stay

Clean comfortable room. Comfortable bed. Furniture, fixtures are adequate. Friendly staff. Basic breakfast. Good wifi. Would stay again.

Be honest

ITS 2 OCLOCK IN THE MORNING!!!
My son and I are in Libby for a baseball tournament.
As a responseable adult, I rented a room at the Country Inn Motel.
I called the front desk and made my reservations a few weeks ago, while making the room reservations I gave the lady at the front desk a card number, even asked if a business credit card was ok to use if it didnt have MY name one it. Was reassured that this was fine.... All was excepted at the counter, went to bed and was awaken, at 2 IN THE MORNING, by the front desk to inform me that I needed to produce a card with my name on it or leave!!! (If I had another option at 2 in the fricken morning, I would have just left!)
I really hope that not all of their guests have been lied to at check in and awaken at 2 IN THE MORNING, to be treated like this!!!! ESPECIALLY AFTER THE QUESTION WAS ADRESSED AT TIME OF RESERVING THE ROOM!!!!!

Poor guest recovery

Manager keeps large unpredictable dog behind counter on leash thats too long. Dog jumped out visciously at myself and my 5 mnth border collie who I had on short leash. My feet got swept out from underneath me and I hit the ground hard. Scraped my left knee, hurt my hip and shoulder my glasses went flying. Manager NEVER EVEN CHECKED IF I WAS ALL RIGHT. Im 63. Maybe next time you wont be so lucky if that happens again and someone breaks a hip or hits their head.

Convenient and in line with price

Motel in its juice, rather old but which remains comfortable. Convenient for one or two nights during a transit.
Very friendly staff.
Large free parking and very good wifi.
Breakfast on the other hand is a disaster, very few things and ultra basic.

Small Town Perks

I have stayed at the Country Inn on a few different occasions and have always been pleased. The staff is always friendly, and cute Shadow is waiting to greet everyone. On this last trip, I had a huge mom fail and left my child's favorite toy in the room. The staff called me, notifying me they found it in the room, and helped me get the toy shipped back to our house. It was amazing customer service, and a true testament of what you get in a small town, with family-oriented people! We will definitely be staying at the Country Inn every trip to Libby!
