I've stayed here many times over the years. Very quiet and peaceful. We enjoy the pool. Minutes away from a really nice restaurant (Diamond Grill).

We were told to call before arriving to get a code to access the property. We called 3 times with no answer or call back. Thankfully when we got to the property the care taker was there and was able to take care of is. He was very friendly and said no one let him know we were coming. He gave us a full tour of the main house and was very knowledgeable. Due to the lack of notice our cabin was not thoroughly cleaned. The pool had alge in it and is in need of a deep clean. The cabin we stayed in was very cozy.

The facilities and grounds are being maintained. Pool was dirty, grass and were not being attended.

The host was so kind to upgrade our room. The property is a truly beautiful place to experience a piece of history. It is very peaceful and quite at night.

Peaceful historic retreat

The host was very kind to upgrade our room during our stay. The home is very beautifully preserved. It was wonderful to take a step back in time. The grounds are so peaceful and the beautiful southern oak trees that line the drive are timeless.
