The Perfect Stop Between Key West and Fort Lauderdale

We were driving from Key West to Fort Lauderdale after our vacation and wanted to stay one more night closer to the airport. We happened to discover Gulf View Waterfront Resort, and we're so glad we did!
The room was very affordable, yet spacious, clean, and comfortable—everything we needed for a relaxing overnight stay.
When I called to make the reservation, Cameron went above and beyond to help me. It was so refreshing to speak with a real person instead of booking online. He made sure we had everything we needed and was genuinely friendly and accommodating.
The property is small and peaceful but has everything you need. The pool area was lovely, and the waterfront views were absolutely beautiful—especially at sunset. There are also plenty of great restaurants nearby and lots to see and do in the area.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable waterfront getaway or a convenient stop while traveling through the Keys.

Absolutely loved our stay with you

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Gulf View Resort in Marathon, Florida! The apartment was spotless, clean, and well maintained. We stayed in the top apartment, and the private deck was incredible, offering beautiful views of the pool, the beautifully kept grounds, and the ocean. It was the perfect place to relax with a morning coffee or unwind in the evening.
We only wish we had more time to take advantage of the kayaks—they looked like so much fun! A special thank you to the absolutely fantastic manager, who was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend Gulf View Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway in the Florida Keys!

A real tatse of the keys in a clean, beautiful, quiet setting

Our room, a king oceanview, was large, comfortable and had a great view. It was clean and well appointed with kitchen stuff (everything but an oven), the bath was specious and attractive, the bed was excellent.
In our room wifi was constantly on again, off again. It probably works better in other areas of the property.
Kayaks are available to use.
It's not a 5 star resort; it's a cozy, comfortable, quiet property with amazing views, the Dolphin Research Center next door (go there and play with dolphins!), a terrific restaurant 2 doors down (SS Wrecks but it's the only full service restaurant nearby).
If you don't want to stay in the craziness of downtown, try this place. I will stay here again.
But it you want to jet ski, I highly recommend Wet Willies on the other side of town, the vendor at this property, while convenient, is NOT customer service oriented. Would rather spend my money at a vendor that cares about customers more than their money

Unreasonable for such a high price!

The accommodation was more like a motel. The interior was musty and especially kitchen and furniture run down, stained and rusty. The beds were disastrously uncomfortable and everything was noisy. We would not have survived a second night...we even left the suitcases in the car! Not recommended. For this price an absolute scam!

Many of the guests that were staying considered the resort to belong to themselves only,leaving trash their kids stuff toys etc.all over common areas as well as occupying the community spaces as if no one else existed
