Wonderful stay
The bathroom was tiny (but to be expected in an older hotel) but had everything that was needed, and the beds were very comfortable.
The one employee who really stood out for me was Diamond at the front desk. She was accommodating, very polite and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
If we are ever in Memphis again, this will be where we stay!

Go for the ducks!
The hotel itself is an elegant, old-world hotel with an emphasis on providing a quality experience. The ducks are a unique and wonderful feature of the hotel, and the privilege of being Duckmaster was akin to being King for a Day. My grandson loved herding the ducks to the elevator and up to their home on the roof. He was celebrated as if he were a celebrity--many people who watched the Duck March complimented him on his "good job,"and he basked in the attention. Our room was lovely, if somewhat small. The location was convenient to the many attractions we wanted to see in Memphis.

Obviously the view was not great as the windows had been covered with some type of clear film that blurred the outside. I would rather have seen the alley or whatever was out there.
The bathroom was dimly lit and had mold on the shower head and walls.
The worst part was the noise! The first night someone was yelling and cursing loudly, I tried to call the front desk but the phone in the room was not functioning
I did notify the front desk the next morning and the phone was fixed. It was a good thing because the next night I had people across the hall partying, when I called to the front I was put on hold for 20minutes before someone picked up. For the price I would rather have stayed at Bass Pro or The Guesthouse. Needless to say the Peabody was a one and done experience for me.
