Pleasant and very clean motel

Lifesaving stop during our van trip. Very clean motel, comfortable bedding, ice available, bathroom large and clean even if, as some comments say, it is a bit dated. Address to recommend on the road!

Good but expensive, but in a remote location.

Blast from the past room, very clean and although olde worlde it was well maintained. Rooms are on the upper floor on the upper floor so you have to take your luggage upstairs, I think they have cabins also. Bed a bit on the firm side but not too bad for someone who suffers a bad back. Opposite a gas station and 711, (not a problem but very handy). They do not offer breakfast but despite all the bad reviews we went to the place at the bridge and it was not bad at all to set you up for the day, with free coffee. The motel does have an on-site restaurant which is apparently only open if the weather is good…..due to the fact that the eating area and cooking are all done outside, so this is understandable. The choice is extremely limited, 3 types of steak which all come with beans, salad and toast but was again not bad at all. The room and meal were the most expensive we had had in our 5 week touring holiday (and we had stayed at Hamptons and Hyatts and eaten at places like Longhorn steak house), but you are in the middle of nowhere….literally. So if you are passing through and need to stay somewhere then I would definitely recommend.

Sweet lodge, nice staff!

We had a great stay at this lodge. We were in cabin B. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. 2 comfortable king sized beds, a pull out couch, table/ chairs and afull bathroom. The staff was fun and energetic. Most of the town was shut down for the winter... including all of the restaurants but the 7-11 had some great food choices for dinner. The lodge provided coffee, some bottled water and several muffins for a quick breakfast. It was a great location to visit Valley of the Gods and Monument Valley.

Amazing place

Just had the most incredible experience at Mexican Heat – both the hotel and restaurant were absolutely amazing! From the warm hospitality to the delicious food and vibrant atmosphere, everything was top-notch.
If you're looking for a place that blends comfort, flavor, and authentic Mexican charm, I highly recommend checking it out. You won’t be disappointed!
