Great staff, wonderful pool and hottub, clean facilities and nice bedding

Nice indoor hottub, pool and restaurant onsite. Bedding was superb and service resulted in a pleasant vacation at the beach. Front desk was beyond helpful.

Public areas need a deep cleaning.

The staff people were very friendly. The location and price were great. The room was fairly clean. The common areas need a really good scrubbing - elevators, drinking fountain (not working), lobby, all kind of grimy. The pool and hot tub water both did not look inviting.

Somewhat Disappointed

Staff was excellent!!!!
Room was very clean!
Water flow from shower head was TOO POWERFUL. It was like you were being beaten.
I was expecting more since it was the Marriott.

While the hotel and nice and the lobby a good meeting place for friends, we were disappointed that breakfast wasn't included with the room stay. There is a Cafe, but it is expensive so we ate elsewhere.

Quiet and cozy

The hotel itself is tucked in away from all the hustle and bustle of Myrtle Beach, but is near Barefoot Landing. A perfect quiet getaway close to lots of food and fun options.
Also…the water pressure was amazing in that shower. I stayed on the 5th floor.
