Fantastic unit. This Apt F-14 was so Glamorous and Brand new
This unit was 100% remodeled. 2 Fireplaces, Washer/dryer. All new appliances including a dishwasher. All furniture, dishes toilet etc was brand new. The crystal lights were just beautiful. Complete luxury which made us feel very special. Everything was Brand New.

Bedbug Infestation and Poop Stains
Staying at the Dunes Pointe Condo was a very unpleasant experience for me and my family. We were assigned room #C14 and the minute we walked into the condo we found many flaws.
One was all the poop and pee stains in the living room and upstairs room carpets. When opening the pull-out couch there were menstrual blood stains on the sheets. They looked as if they had not been washed in months. There was also trash in the downstairs closet.
Another major problem was the bed bug infestation in the upstairs bedroom. Not only were there three dirty mattresses stacked on top of each other but the bed boards were broken and looked as if they had been taped with ducttap to stand together. My mom and I slept in the upstairs beds and woke up to over 20 bedbug bites all over our bodies.
I expect this kind of stuff from a worn-down motel but not an expensive condo resort. It was a complete waste of money and I would not recommend this place to anyone until the owners of the condo get it fixed and cleaned up.

Major Make Over Needed
Unit C-14 needs a makeover and serious attention. Things need to be replaced. I received bed bug bites from the upstairs loft bed. The downstairs couch mattress had stains,. Several pots are missing handles. The cold-water knob in the bathroom is loose and doesn't work properly, the 2nd bedroom bed skirt is badly torn, upstairs comforters are starting to tear at the seams, Closets are filled with all old stuff like lamps, old blankets, mix match merchandise plastic hangers, It just reminds you of a place to sore lots of Goodwill junk. Felt like the owner just didn't care at all about the property. we were dissapointed. ,

Not what we expected
The place I rented was not the one I reserved. It should have been 1 king and 2 double beds. Instead, it was 1 king and 2 twin beds. We found previous guests' items under the bed. The pool was closed and was not notified ahead of time. The condo was nicely decorated.
The description stated a "walk to the beach". If you consider 1/2 a mile a walk (part of it uphill), then it is accurate. I notified the company there was a light out at the wet bar in the room. The clerk advised there had been a request to replace it made one week ago. It was never replaced while I was there. The patio had two large rugs on it that were soaking wet when we arrived and throughout our stay. There was no dishwashing liquid, only 2 rolls of toilet paper (1 for each bathroom) and only 1 trash bag per trash can. I had to purchase additional paper towels, toilet paper, dishwashing liquid, and trash bags. These items have always been included in my stays at homes, condos, and hotels.
One of the twin beds did not have pillow cases on the 2 pillows on it. With Myrtle Beach being a hotspot for COVID-19, that was unsanitary to not provide pillow cases. We also had one set of towels for the duration of our stay.
Upon checkout, the trash needed to be discarded. I asked on 2 different occasions where the outside trash bin was located and never given an answer. I literally had to drive around and dispose of my trash in other bins not on the property. Perhaps indicate in check-in the location of the properties personal trash bin if the employees do not know? Also, why not included the internet code with the keys?

Not on the beach but very nice
My family and I visited Myrtle Beach for spring break April 2016. Because of late booking we were we're unable to secure Oceanfront booking. We were able to secure lodging with Dunes Pointe condos and we're very impressed with the setup and the accommodations of this condo. There was adequate room for our family of 6 and everything we need it was available for our vacation. The lodging was clean for the most part however my children discovered several pair of female adults underwear that were not clean and we're left under the bed. We contact management and the garments were gone before we return back for the day. Although the condo is not on the beach there are wonderful accommodations made for you to enjoy a day on the beach with private access to a cabana. This condo is situated in a more quieter area of North Myrtle Beach. We would definitely stay again.
