What a perfect mother-daughter weekend getaway! I took my mom to New Bern to celebrate her birthday, and this B&B made it truly special. So much of that credit goes to our host Linda, who was warm, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making sure every need was taken care of. She even surprised my mom with a sweet little gift and card for her birthday, which absolutely made her day. That kind of personal touch is so rare and so appreciated.
The rooms are charming and spotlessly clean, with that cozy, character-filled feel that makes a B&B so special. And breakfast? Absolutely delicious and exactly what you hope for after a great night’s sleep.
The location couldn’t be more perfect for exploring everything New Bern has to offer. We were right where we needed to be.

The Meadows Inn is cozy and comfortable with an antique look but modern amenities. It is close to shops, restaurants and the Riverfront Convention Center. It is in the historic district. Our room was clean and the bed is firm, we slept like babies! They offer coffee, tea and other beverages as well. The breakfasts were AMAZING. They also had cookies/brownies in the afternoon. Everyone was warm and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.

I could not have asked for a better place to stay on my travels through and around New Bern. I parked my car and never needed it again until the day I left. Everything was walking distance. I loved Linda’s breakfasts but also her attention to the little extras, including cookies, beverages, etc. It’s a beautiful spot and a great place to stay in New Bern.

This is a wonderful b&b! I usually prefer to stay in hotels but I absolutely love this b&b and will make it my stay of choice in New Bern. The breakfasts were nothing short of amazing!!! The host Linda is a true gem. She was warm, friendly, knowledgeable & very accommodating.

Meadows Inn is a fantastic, quaint and relaxing Bed & Breakfast! My husband and I went for a short getaway for our anniversary! The Inn is within walking distance from some fantastic restaurants and shopping. Ms. Linda was a wonderful host! She was so friendly, accommodating and truly made you feel at home in her Inn. Breakfast each morning was also fantastic! Something new and exciting each day. The homemade cookies in the afternoon were also a delicious treat! Highly recommend Meadows Inn and look forward to a day when we can go back!
