It was a good deal for the price. We needed two beds - we were able to book a room with a king and a queen, which was great! The AC was effective, which was important as CA was in the middle of a heat wave. The location is very good - walking distance to Bart's Books, downtown, and some great eateries. One thing travelers should know is that the parking lot is small and tight - we had to perform some fancy footwork with our minivan to get out. One thing I would like to call attention to is that either the gate to the pool doesn't have an auto-closer or that guests are propping the gate open. Younglings bent on destroying themselves could access the pool unintentionally.

Wonderful trip to Ojai.

We had an excellent stay at the Chantico Inn in Ojai. The hotel is very pleasant, perfectly maintained, and offers very beautiful facilities. We particularly enjoyed the pool, the hot tub, as well as the outdoor areas, which are conducive to relaxation after a day of exploring the region. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and the general atmosphere of the establishment is calm and welcoming.
The staff was always friendly and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. A big thank you to the whole team for their welcome and professionalism. We will keep a very good memory of our stay and will return with great pleasure during a future visit to Ojai!

Charming and Wonderful

Chantico is one of our favorite little hotels. Everything about it is charming, thoughtful, and ultimately delightful and relaxing. The service is gracious and timely. We thought we would be there only one night but stayed two, and for the past couple of days have talked about returning as soon as possible, maybe this weekend. That's how happy Chantico made us!

Huge room with aircon and very comfortable. The inn was very beautiful and the pool and spa a welcome surprise to us! Perfect location to wonder into town and very close to the Libbey bowl where we had tickets to a concert. Lots going on there throughout the summer.
