If you don't mind paying top dollar for a barely 2 star stay than this is the one. The picture I was shown at booking shows a room with a screened balcony. It also boasts a lakeview and I paid extra for the queen beds. The only real screened in area is not an individual balcony but a shared porch that runs along the top floor. I did not get a lakeview I got a veiw of the parking lot wow. I had to call the front desk and ask if I actually got a room with queen beds, because they seemed smaller than that. One bed was super firm and the other was worn out and way to soft. Wifi was terrible. The room smelt musty and looked like it hadnt been updated since the 70's. The only curtain either gave you no view or was wide open for anyone to look right in the room. There's really no half way about it or thin curtain to at least let light in without feeling like you're in a fish bowl. The ceiling light in the room did basically nothing. The dresser had pills left in it, and the fidge had booze and left over pasta salad from the last guest. The toilet tank cover wouldn't fit right on the toilet because the sink was mounted way to close, so the whole time you're sitting on the toilet the sink is poking you in the side. While taking a shower I kept getting burned beacause the temperature would keep changing constantly. If you want to heat up your food, you have to drag it all the way to the lobby which is not always open. I will not be staying here again. Very poor deal. Very disappointed.

Terrible
Terrible. Avoid at all costs! Dirty, stinky (mold), terrible service and they don’t care if you complain because all the staff is family. Very “deliverance” vibes. Acted like a guest was outrageous for ringing the bell to use the microwave!? If you don’t want to run a hotel don’t? Or at very least if you don’t want to provide hospitality and get annoyed when guests want to use the microwave maybe point up and put mics in the rooms? Dirt in all corners, mold in bathroom corners, clogged drains, just downright disgusting. So bad we left early. I’m literally embarrassed I stayed, from the price point it looked like it’d be equivalent to nearby hotels I’ve stayed in, boy was I wrong!

The motel definitely needs repairs and renovations. I've stayed here off and on for a couple decades and I don't think anything has been upgraded. Plumbing and doors need work. The location is perfect for going to the water park, shopping, restaurants, and movie theater. Office staff is friendly. Coffee was good. I only wish the office and pool were open earlier and later. They charge an extra $30 to check in before 3pm. That seemed kind of stupid considering the room was ready when we got to town after 1pm so there was nothing being done to it for us to drop our stuff before heading to the water park. It literally would have sat there empty vs containing our belongings. There is no housekeeping during your stay so there ends up being a heap of dirty linen/towels in the bathroom. And if you want clean towels you need to carry your dirty ones to the office to exchange for clean. I ended up using our extra beach towels.

Rooms are dark, musty, and dingy. They need a major update done. Staff was not very nice
