Very nice updated hotel but a few concerns
Upon check in room keys were not available because of some technical issue A maintenance person had to let us into room
Could not leave or room would lock behind us and had to have them let us in again
Said they would send key up later
Never did
Very inconvenient… and a bit scary
Also there was no body wash in shower
Luckily I had brought my own

Lovely hotel in downtown Peoria, connected to the Pere Marquette, an historic hotel. Rooms were very nice. Staff was cheerful and responsive. The restaurant hours were a bit tight for our traveling schedule but staff was very helpful to try to accommodate us.

The pool and hot tub were closed for renovation when we were there. Nothing noted this on the hotels.com listing or we wouldn't have booked it. We specifically were looking for these amenities. Also, our AC unit in our room was so loud it kept us up at night. Lastly, the configuration of the room was odd. The TV was placed to the side of the bed instead of in front of it.

The pool and hot tub were closed for renovations. That was not noted when booking. It was a big weekend with St Jude runs in town and we would have booked somewhere else had we known there wasn’t a pool or hot tub.
The staff was very nice and the hotel was clean. The rooms were also very nice.

Parking is a rip off. Fridge in the room was not cold. Bed and bedding very nice. Nice bathroom!
