A great stay with hosts Micah and Darcy. They were very friendly and happy to help us plan out our days, winery visits, restaurants, etc.
Additionally, the breakfasts were great. The house was very nice with the added bonus of two friendly dogs and a cat.
A very large and spacious backyard with chairs, firepits, cabanas, etc..

My stay at the Yorkshire inn was wonderful and everything was better than expected. The property is beautifully landscaped with so many beautiful flowers and plants around, the inn itself is so charming and clean. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and do accommodating. They communicated clearly and well with all expectations and with our needs and wants. The room we stayed in was so beautiful and had so much character, we felt right at home! The breakfasts were delicious and made to perfection. I almost didn’t want to go to the event we were there for, and wanted to enjoy the inn instead lol! I definitely recommend this establishment to stay in if you’re ever in Geneva, NY or its surrounding areas. It beats going to an air bnb and the price was reasonable. Thank you so much for the lovely experience!

Absolutely Charming Historic Boutique Inn in the Finger Lakes!
We had a wonderful stay at the Yorkshire Inn in Phelps and can’t recommend it enough! This beautiful 1796 inn is full of quaint 1770s character with charming antique pieces and fossils displayed throughout that made us feel right at home. We slept incredibly well and woke up to phenomenal breakfasts, fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. (Sharing photos of our amazing morning meals!)
The two resident small dogs and cat were such a delightful bonus, friendly and full of personality.
We’re excited that this gem is evolving into a boutique wedding venue! The owners (a wonderful couple) are finishing up the outside-access washrooms and catering kitchen, which will make it even more perfect for events. We also loved hearing about the outside sauna which is ideal for cold evenings and in the winter you can make snow angels and then jump back in.
This is the perfect base for exploring the area. We visited Rochester and enjoyed Taughannock Falls, Watkins Glen State Park (go early!), Ithaca Falls, Buttermilk Falls, and several nearby wineries. Everything is an easy, scenic drive away.
A huge thank you to the Micah and his wife for the warm hospitality. We’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend for romantic getaways, weddings, or relaxing escapes.

Beautiful and Welcoming
You would never know that the inn was initially built in 1776: it's an amazing structure which has been updated and decorated impeccably--so many items to look at. There are many seating areas outside, one around a fire pit, which were inviting. Our room, the Blue Room, was spacious. The breakfast was professionally created and served. The location is country but Geneva is only 10-15 minutes away. And don't miss going to Kindred Fare for dinner!
