The location is conveniently located in Downtown, Phoenix. Hotel was clean and comfortable for my sister & I. I loved that it is right across the street from the Van Buren!

The staff was helpful, even though the rooms had been remodeled, the bathroom was old--tiles were chipped, it wasn't particularly clean. The neighborhood was questionable (it didn't seem that safe)--it was on the immediate outskirts of the business and tourist areas of downtown. I noticed unhoused people walking the streets.

I’ve stayed here twice and have really enjoyed my stays. The room and bathroom are clean and have a nice new style compared to some dated hotels in the area. The staff was very helpful when my card lost access to unlock the door. Parking in the lot might be an issue if there is a heavily populated event but there is plenty of free on street parking nearby. The air conditioning worked flawlessly all weekend, a must during a Phoenix summer where it’s still 101° at 11pm. This location is great and within walking distance to a lot of great bars, clubs, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

The cleaning lady pretty much busted down the door one day during my stay… We told her we didn’t want room service and she still opened the door. Luckily the deadbolt was there to stop her but then she proceeded to try to remove the deadbolt through the crack in the door. We had to reiterate that we do not want room service.

The actual room is decent, although the shower door wouldn't close - due to unevenness; gravity slides it open - wetting the floor.
The main issue is the location. It is downtown so convenient to venues there. But it is noisy, looks very unsafe and rundown.
If you look closely at the reviews, seems like the raves are written by the same persons.
I will not go back to this hotel.
