Phenomenal Service & a Great Stay in Downtown Phoenix!
I recently stayed at the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown and had an amazing experience from start to finish! What really stood out was the phenomenal service—the staff was professional, friendly, and on point across the board.
My room was cleaned daily, and I really appreciated the complimentary bottled water.
Their concierge was also fantastic and gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations that made exploring downtown Phoenix even better.
A special shoutout to Max at the bar! He was fantastic, incredibly personable, and clearly knows his wines to a T. Great service and great conversation.
The lobby is huge and beautifully laid out, with plenty of comfortable areas to sit, lounge, work, or meet with others. There’s also a large bar area and a convenient coffee/espresso bar, making it easy to grab a drink and relax without even leaving the hotel.
We had breakfast at Carcara, the hotel’s restaurant, and everything was delicious. The restaurant features locally inspired Arizona and Sonoran cuisine, which was a nice touch. We also enjoyed dinner in the ballroom on the third floor, which was another fantastic experience.
For business travelers, I really liked the variety of meeting and workspace options. There are smaller private spaces that are perfect for taking a Zoom call, along with larger meeting areas that can accommodate groups of six or more. It makes this hotel especially convenient if you’re traveling for business or attending a conference.

Sheraton Phoenix Downtown is a relatively modern property, built in 2008 and renovated in 2019, and it has become one of the major full-service hotels serving downtown Phoenix and the nearby convention center. Today, its location puts you right in the middle of downtown, close to the Phoenix Convention Center, sports venues, restaurants, entertainment, and cultural attractions.
The Sheraton brand itself has quite a history, dating back to 1937, when founders Ernest Henderson and Robert Moore acquired their first hotel in Springfield, Massachusetts. Sheraton eventually became part of Marriott International and is now one of Marriott’s most recognizable global hotel brands.
All in all, I highly recommend staying here if you’re ever in downtown Phoenix. Great accommodations, fantastic dining, a beautiful lobby, excellent business facilities, and—most importantly—phenomenal service!

This team is so good at large conventions!
They recognize and provide excellent Bon-Voy elite benefits. They are friendly and effective from front to back of the property. Was treated to early check in, upgraded to very nice suite. Daily room cleaning, nice pool that is clean and opens early. Lobby Bar and Carcara are hopping busy and fun for large crowds. The executive lounge is one of my favorites at any Marriott property I've visited.

Attention Event/Conference Planners! Going to Phoenix? Need a hotel for your participants?
If you are planning an event or conference in Phoenix Arizona I highly recommend the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown. Beautiful, modern guest rooms, amazing Sheraton Lounge for Bonvoy Members, relaxing pool and bar patio on the 4th floor. Pool bar offers wonderful drinks and food. Lobby has a well stocked bar including coffee and refrigerated snacks you can grab and go as well as tons of comfortable seating and even live music in the evenings. Your conference participants will be thrilled. And as a planner you will be absolutely thrilled with the friendly and welcoming staff front of house and especially back of house. Top notch sales and event staff who go the extra mile to help solve any problem you might face (like those participants who swear they booked a hotel room when they actually didn’t). We had a registration desk set up in the lobby for two days and an office in a suite on the 4th floor which suited our needs wonderfully.

No sleep at Sheraton
I’m up at 3:30am bc an employee is dragging pool furniture to rearrange it. The scraping noise is awful. The first night it happened at midnight, the second night at 11:45pm. I call the desk and they acted shocked.
