It’s was a nice quiet stay. The balcony view of the forest was very calming, nice scenic view. The room was spacious and comfortable to relax after long day on the beach. Breakfast was nothing fancy decent for what’s nearby. The inn will always be a consideration if I plan another trip to the dunes.

Spring House Inn is definitely somewhere that my family will stay again. It was clean, the staff was friendly, breakfast was good and we loved that we had a balcony, even on the ground floor! It has a nice pool with a whirlpool and sauna. It is an older building, but is well kept. There are plenty of nice places around the building to sit outside and enjoy the weather. Inside has many places to sit and enjoy as well. I loved the decor - all of the antique items on display. The fact that it is close to the Dunes and several places to eat is a plus! We live in a nearby city, but needed a place to get away to when our power went out in the big storm that hit NW Indiana. We are so glad we chose Spring House Inn!

Location proximity to IN Dunes earned the 1 star otherwise nothing positive to say. Room dark, incredibly humid/damp, musty horrible smell, a/c intermittent rattling throughout nice, breakfast below average, only 2 small towels and won’t provide more unless you trade in your 2. Woodsy setting but plastic/glass door too faded/cloudy to see through. When we opened our suitcases after leaving, the contents smell horrible from room odor. Carpeting & wallpaper horribly dated - probably a nice hotel decades ago but now it needs a major remodel.

The Spring House Inn was a wonderful place to stay to to explore the Indiana Dunes National Park and State Park. The location was extremely close to both parks, as well as numerous restaurants, yet was a wonderfully quiet retreat. The inn's pool was nice to use when there was less than ideal weather at the beach. The room was clean and well maintained. The breakfast staff was helpful when certain food items ran out, and the front desk staff was very helpful with requests for supplies and information. Our family will definitely stay at the Inn again when we go back to the region.

Stayed with two kids and loved it. Yes, there are some things that need some love like holes in the wall where a towel bar was or a noisy air conditioning unit, but we were very happy staying there.
